I believe that is Ankylosaurus (sp?). He is my favorite herbavor. My favorite carnivor( ) would have to be either Deinonychus ( a bigger version of velociraptor; i think it is what was meant in Jurassic Park, Velociraptors being only about 3-4 ft tall in real life instead of 6-6.5) or the ultimate bad-ass, Tyranasaurus Rex!

The artist forgot deinonychus' feathers! No feathers on a raptor, that is SO old school. Most dinosaurs were dumb, but the Raptors (family Dromaeosauridae) and tiny relatives of Tyrannosaurs, Troodontids (also feathered), were quite smart, probably as smart as dogs, cats, or ravens. Actually all memmbers of the carnivore group Coelurosauria were feathered, T-rex is a member of this group (its not a relative of Allosaurus), but lost its feathers just like many large mammals have no hair.

there has been many finds of feathered dinos in the past 5 years, all less closely related to birds than Deinonychus. In China they found a pair of feathered raptor chicks they named Microraptor.

I can't believe all of these people know all of these different dinosaurs anyway. I guess I wasn't the only Dino freak as a kid.

Iguanadon was also the ancestor of the duckbills (hadrosaurs), and was the first dinosaur to be discribed back in the early 1800's. The teeth of duckbills was made for grinding tough food, and the pads on thier hoeves, once mistaken for webs of skin, made them the antelope of the Late Cretaceous.

I also have a favorite herbivore and carnivore.

The greatest carnivore ever is the fascinating Troodon. Smartest dinosaur to have existed, so say the ever popular paleontologists.

The best herbivore to have existed was the remarkable stegosaurus of the Jurassic Period. This dinosaur was beautifully portrayed by Spike, in the classic series, "Land Before Time".
