Continuing my season-long diatribe against my hometeam, you are definitely wrong. The vikings still have a fighting chance.

Here's an example of the coaching genius that is Marty Moron-weg. The team goes down 17-7 after a quick score in the mid 2nd. It's still early, mind you, so what does Moronweg do in the 2 nd game of the season- benches the starter Mike Mcmahon! Even though it wasn't his fault and he was getting crushed all day cuz the OL couldn't block a gaggle of baby geese.

So Mcmahon's spirits are completely crushed. Harrington comes in and throws a pick on his second toss! Moron-weg now puts Mcmahon back in the game to finish the second quarter and into the third, then takes him out again in the fourth.

Rodney Peete (!) had 330 yards passing and 2 or 3 tds, only the 5 th time in his career he had over 300 passing. Nuff said?

This team needs to be shipped off somewhere like Walla Walla so we can get a fresh, new expansion team two or three years down the road. It's a disgrace.

Actually they didn't get crushed. They really played a good game most of the way through. Stewart played VERY well, but his recievers seemed to have an aversion to catching the ball.
