Sad news!

Today the evil empires of Australia and America have started a World War!

Of the coast of the roman mainland, 6 SOLS loaded with musketeers and cannons landed on the roman shores. Not much are know today, besides they have started bombarding roman cities, killing innocent traders, raping housewifes and kill infants.

The Roman Empire calls upon its alliance with the gloriouse Native American empire. Redirected army group north. Called a state of emergency troughout the country. Moved the goverment from rome to a unknown city away from the scene of battle. The navy have started MASS production of Battleships and SOLs, estimated to have 35 SOLs ready within 12 turns.

This little unprovoked, pitty action by the Aussies and Americans WILL be revenged!!!! All forces have been redirected for the defence of Rome. Also we the Facist party have taken absolute control of the state. We will no longer look at the democratic paries hassling with the roman armed forces, we cannot look upon a military letting foreing forces strike so undetected!

To our long lasting friends the English!
As this attack came unprovoked, we hope you will give us aid in this time of need. Every gold you can send we will repay dobbel as soon as the evil Austrailians and Americans are beaten! If you also redirect youre forces to the Roman mainland for peace keeping we will send you Techs to let you people take place in our technological society!

In fact, Rome was taken so fast that the Roman government did not yet have time to evacuate.

Again the american intelligence have failed, the roman goverment came away, the democratic president have given the power away by own will. The new dictator just released a Book. The fight against american and australian under people. Through this book he show us how primitive these tribes are. They have just gotten hold of the wheel, and now steal advances from our glouriouse empire. But do they know how to use them, guess not....

From the scene of battle we can report that the first 7 ship of the lines have left Roman drydocks heading for the theather of war. They are expected to take out the 6 hostile SOLs with in 2-3 turns. Then the attacking ground forces will be stranded in a hostile country were also the mouse are attacking them. Our newly aquired Fascist will soon have wiped those ancient musketteers of the face of this earth with their machineguns. When this have been finished, we will have a trial to find the spy who leaked that the roman cities were undefended at the moment of attack...

as far as i'm concerned, i don't have any objections to your taking over the assyrians...just one thing, PLEASE sign a cease fire/peace treaty with me now...i'm so tired of whacking settlers and watching the few phalanxs and pikemen waltz back and forth doing nothing to protect the settler units. so i would most certainly welcome you into the game provided that you'll stop those damn dancing pikemen and phalanxs...and stop the settlers walking next to my cities where they get beaten up by thugs and have all their candy taken from them...

i think it would be best if we all checked our drives to see what is the last game we have there.

i have turn 114 to be sent to pin (which i did on 2/27) and that is the only game turn i have on my system.

I haven't seen turn 114 yet. The last one I had was 113 which I sent on 26/2/01.
