The Vikings are finding this a very lonely World. There have been many rumours of other civilisations inhabiting this World but these are generally believed to be all myths since we have had no contact in all these centuries. We remain forever optimistic that one day we will come across foriegn ships that we may be able to trade with and befriend people from other nations.

Our ships though still rather primitive are searching as far as possible from our shores in the hope of proving the rumours to be true. Each day we pray to Vallhalla that this will be the day we find other intelligent life!

A group of French diplomats arrived at the main gate of the Egyptian City of Busiris. The citizens of the town need not be alarmed as the French aim only to establish an embassy that will be to the benefit of both nations. A meeting has been requested in which the Diplomat will make a formal and courteous request to the Egyptian leader Franses, for the establishment of a good and friendly relationship between our neighboring states.

All was quiet in the great city of Delhi. Only a few saw the dove, that slowly flew in.

The message was brought to Wiagra the Great Womenlover of India (name with a W - not a V!).

"Let the bells sound all over the nations. The Vikland has been found. Send this reply to the captain and our diplomat:

Please do not hesitate to establish an office/embassy with the vikings. You are allowed to instruct the vikings in some specific skills such as how to make longships and how to navigate.

Our knowledge of this new nation should also be common knowledge to all other nations - in this way trade (and income) should raise to new hights.

It is a time of great joy in the Viking strongholds of Midway! The legends turned out to be true, there really are other human life forms on this planet.

We most warmly welcome the diplomatic visitors from afar and invite them to join with us in a celebration of friendship. These wonderful travellers sent by the great leader Wiagra have been granted the freedom of our cities.

We give thanks for the gifts that they have seen fit to bestow upon our humble nation and we have already started to put this new found knowledge to good use, that we may also be able to sail across the wide open sea.

It is with regret that the Viking nation is at this time unable to repay the Indians for the gifts that they brought, however let it be known to the World that we freely give to Wiagra and all the Indian people, our loyalty and friendship, we hope that these will someday be of benefit.
