As we have no desire for anything other than peaceful relations with you and your strong allies it is with some distress we notice recent developments between us. You have failed to respond to our request for a peaceful and mutually beneficial sharing of newly discovered lands and you have subsequently refused a friendly exchange of maps. We now find a military presence on the mountains surrounding Versailles. Having always respected a no trespassing agreement we made with you some time ago it is expected that you reciprocate and remove you units from our lands as soon as possible.

Dear French leader,

It was also to our surprise that we found the city of Versailles located on one of our islands, the Island Egyriscala. We also spotted one of your ships close to our cities located on the island. The ship should have reported to you that the island contains many Egyptian cities. After consultation of my advisors it was decided that we will not harm the city of Versailles. If there are any other cities located on the island please let us know now and we will not harm them either.

We expect France not to settle any further on the island of Egyriscala as we did not settle further on the mainland. We assume that we can live together in peace here as well as on the mainland.

No storms, no pirates no nothing have yet delayed the travel of our colonists. All three ships are sailing as scheduled.

I have just got a message from one of our ships:

While our ship was passing through the small passage of northern China and the island, we hoped should have been ours, we meet a merchantship.

He has new rumours from China, telling that a longhair man i clothes of fur has just been litteraly kicked out of a chinese city. Just as one of our diplomats was many-many years ago. But this is just rumours, that are not yet confirmed.

I am sorry, but I had to order my guards to expel a russian settler. My settler was here first. The island just north of Kursk is more suitable for your settler I think.

But it seems like the island New East India more likes a joint venture island - though we still miss a chinese and a viking city. But they can come later I suppose.

Funny mail I have received this morning from Kelvin - do not excactly look like a turnpost. Think I'm going to get the latest update of McAfee.

Edit: It was only info of e-mail changes - and some funny borders. Anyway, it can't harm to have the antivirus updated.
