Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

1. Sid probably will pick the romans. They arent the worst civ ever, they have a UU that is extremely good at offense/defense. The only weakness would be mobility and lack of religious/expansion trait (which I think is two overpowered trait). However, mil/com works in its weird way as a very good combo as well.

2. Sid will play for about half an hour until he realizes that the lag is horrendously bad and will just give up.
