Doh!! I must apologise for not reading that before I played and sent the turn. Maya went into shock when trade was cancelled and thought you may have had more sinister plans. All trade will be restored next turn, and I'm sure we can offer somewhat by way of apology for reacting by cutting trade with you also, oops.  We can extend trade to the Americans also, without harming trade with the Hebrews at all. Alas, Maya must also announce the death of Zain, our mad alchemist. Once again Zain was "experimenting" when he blew up his laboratory, and the surrounding walls. Luckily madness runs in Zains family and his sons have decided to further the experiments on these explosive materials. (btw, can anyone smell gunpowder? )

Hebrews are sorry for the trade troubles. Anyway, we have just cancelled offering our pearls after that our leader Vitolg Ha-Melech has been convinced by the trade advisor that collecting pearls in our motherland would be more profitable than selling them overseas. Thus, Hebrews would like to inform they are interested in buying pure and high-quality American pearls.
We confirm our good attitude to our friends Maya and would like to bring it about by establishing an embassy. Hereby Maya are kindly requested to let one of our diplomats reach one of Maya cities in the nearest future.
