Amazing things have happened this season. Somthing calld a "Mechanical clock" was accidently discovered in ruins. It was brought back to the capitol and examine bye our scientists. Amazingly enough,they tell me,that we can duplicate this complicated piece of machinery.

I would also like to take this time brag about a new Incan unit due to be realesed in a few seasons. He is styled a "Pikeman" ,and without a doubt will be a greatest defensive unit ever to be made. Let it also be known that the mighty INCAN civilization has agreed to an alliance with our friendly Russian neighbors. We hope we can work together on issues in the unforeseen future.

The Shah of Persia, Asmut Bin Masoud, Passed away last night. After a grand funeral the Persian High Priest Ayotollah Thor was declared the new Shah of all Persia.

He praised the great Leader Asmut and said that he would follow in his footsteps to continue to guide the Persian people to success and prosperity.

His first move was to begin a massive public works program outside of persis and increase the amount of land available for farming. After which he sent his emissaries to open dialogue with Persia's close neighbor.

A diplomatic note from our closest neighbor has been read with much pleasure.

I look forward to recieve The Royal representative of the Shah of Persia, Arshan Mahmut.

Our best diplomat has packed his books and notes and is now heading for Persia.

I know, that there are many hostile normads and babarians in the dessert north and on the plains south of Assyria - so my advice is, that all merchants, settlers and diplomats should have some escorte.

But pardon me for a moment - I have a babarian at my dorstep right now....

There was orignally some misunderstanding on whether the Persian leader was sane because of where his citys were placed. So we sent out a demand of gold to see if he was crazy enough to give it. Now that the Persian leader speaks out, and seems sane, we wish to have good relations with him despite earlier misunderstandings. We decided to 'throw you a bone' bye giving you the obselete knowledge of philopshy. And I hope that your intentions are good ones.

The Government has officialy recognized its error.The Brigade leader of the 3rd Scouting Legion was arrested and the unit disbanded upon hearing of such crime. A diplomat weighed down with gold would be sent next season to relay an apoligy to King Thor.
