I've seen the competition and it shows me that undoubtedly I have the coolest desktop…
Come on… David Bowie? With the middle finger???
Also notice the easily accessible mounted network drives - further showing proof of Jaguar's ridiculously easy network capabilities.
Drake - you should've noticed that I was using 10.2 for one small bit of evidence... check the top left application menu once again…
Oh and if anyone could help me find a 1024 vertical image of david bowie I'd be VERY appreciative!

The mounted network drives have been easily accessible since Windows 95.
They were kinda hard to set up, but with XP it's painless.

Seriously though, your desktop is unorganized, chaotic, and bland. Too much white. Too little content. Too much flash. Very Apple.

Unorganized? No. Perhaps my organization reaches such a level that it becomes incomprehensible to someone so used to 'formalism' and 'structure' such as yourself. Too little content? Well, it has my drives, and a dock (hidden)… Those have content. To much flash? Style, style my friend! And you obviously heard that white is the new black…

Do you mean I've never rebelled against the status quo for the sake of rebelling against the status quo? You're right, I'm a utilitarian. I use what I like, and I like what's good and functional. You can see why I have problems with Apple's products.

The icons are oversized, there's too few of them, in no particular order or arrangement. Disorganized and lack of content.

Maybe I'm too stupid to work with this, but how can I make the image I pasted in Paint to be posted here? If I try to post it the way I saved it, the forum says it is too big. If I try to resize it, then the image gets blurred.

Hmm, I think that you are all posting images hosted on your own websites, using the IMG tags. Am I right?

I actually use webshots, so my background changes each day. I have a LOT of BGs, including Digital Blasphemy and Greg Martin, my two favourite 3D CG image artists. The one I have now is by Ryan Gill, who's site no longer exists
