Off hand the human brain averages 1350 cc in volume. That would result in a weight of 1.35 KG IF the brain has the same weight at water. I think the brain is a bit less dense than water. It has to be close since it is mostly water.

So its about three pounds. Which fits with what I remember.

I agree with Aeson as well, but with a twist: ignorance is the largest factor, but ignorance can be cured if you have an open mind. The most dangerous people are those who are ignorant (and ALL OF US are ignorant of MANY things) but think they know it all - or think they can make decisions or argue a position effectively without knowledge.

Hmmm, I would think the opposite. I think every problem has a very simple solution. Also, I think people tend to look for complications to prevent themselves from actively seeking a solution. "Oh, it's too hard. I'd have to do A, then B, then C, then D. Ugh, so much effort." The solution may not be easy, but it's almost always simple.

I think its an improvement. The LA Lambs were bad yet the owner thought she should recieve a LARGE bribe to stay in one of the two largest TV markets in the US.

If the NFL wants a team in Southern California they will have to end their attempts at extorting local governments. If they like missing out on all the money the could be making long term thats their short term greed hurting them.
