Is there a rule that explicitly says you can't hold 2 positions.
I was just wondering, because I don't see it and if nobody wanted an executive position it would make sense for the smc to run for both president and smc. That way he would have nobody to blame if things didn't workout but himself. Not that I would be interested but.......

Dread General Aggie crumpled the dispatch from that bumbling OPD. Not good enough? Who does this pompus moron think he is. "McDonald's" is a fine name for a city. If his recently crowned highness thinks he can so nonchalantly ignore my city name proposal he had better have a a summer home in Greece. The Dread General muses over the final words of the dispatch, "...as such I will not be using the name 'McDonald's'. As to your demands for more troops or else, well I AM King and my decision stands. As to your threats, I find them laughable, you and what army?"

CAN you run for two different positions? And although AGGIE I think you would make a great President and SMC, would that not make the game more one-sided? Oops, I spoke out of turn

I was considering running for Minister of Science but I don't feel it necessary to race against Duddha (two Hawks for one position?)

When I really think about it, I probably won't be available much for both the start of the term and the end of the term. I might as well just run for UN Rep and possibly IE if Arnelos runs for VP.

So, put "Apocalypse" (two 'a's, one 'o') down for UN Rep.

I really couldn't do either Prez or VP (Well, could have been VP if I never had to play the game, which would have defeated the purpose), so it sounds like disaster may be averted .

I've played about 1 1/2 turns so far. Next weekend I might be more free to play quite a bit.

Huh... if Ghengis is going to run for Prez, then I'm probably running for Public Works... which means Meshelic (who is now running for IE) could get it w/o having to run against me... this could work out

If not, I could always run for VP or continue my current run for IE...

Actually "Sexy Cleopatra" is our leader when I open up saves on my computer. Bresta the "Jessica Rabbit" lookalike is leader of Germany, Helen of Troy is the leader of Greece, and Deedlit the Elf Princess is leader of France. On my computer we're surrounded by "bouncing" females. The only male we bordered was Xerxes and well we know what happened to him.............

Nominations work weird -- you nominate yourself and declare your intention to run for the position. Of course, there's always peer pressuring to get people to nominate themselves for the job, but anyone can decide to run.
