Downtown Train
Outside another yellow moon
has punched a hole in the night time mist
I climb through the window and down to the street
I'm shining like a new dime
The downtown trains are full
full of all them Brooklyn girls
They try so hard to break out of their little worlds
You wave your hand and they scatter like crows
They have nothing that'll ever capture your heart
They're just thorns without the rose
Be careful of them in the dark
Oh if I was the one you chose to be your only one
Oh baby can't you hear me now, can't you hear me now
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
Every night, every night its just the same
On a downtown train
I know your window and I know its late
I know your stairs and your doorway
I walk down your street and past your gate
I stand by the light of the four way
and watch them as they fall, oh baby
They all having their heart attacks
They stay at the carnival
But they'll never win you back
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
Every night, every night its just the same
You leave me lonely
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
All my dreams, all my dreams fall like rain
On a downtown train
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
Every night, every night its just the same
Will I see you tonight on a downtown train
All my dreams, all my dreams fall like rain
On a downtown train
On a downtown train
All my dreams fall like rain
On a downtown train

Always, Again and Again (Itsumo Nando Demo)
(Theme to Spirited Away)
Lyrics: Kaku Wakako
Music: Kimura Yumi
You're calling, somewhere deep in my heart
I want to keep dreaming things that make my heart dance
My sorrows are too many to count, but
Somewhere beyond them, I'm sure I'll be able to meet you
When they keep repeating their mistakes, people
Know only the blueness of the blue sky
I can try to continue down this endless road, but
These two hands of mine can embrace the light
When we said goodbye, my heart went still
With my body turned to zero, I'm able to listen
The mystery of living, the mystery of dying
They're the same for the flowers, the winds, the cities, all of us
You're calling, somewhere deep in my heart
Let's keep dreaming dreams, always, again and again
Instead of counting out every last one of our sorrows
Let's sing softly with the same lips
Amid my closing memories, I still hear
That whisper I never want to forget
Even in the pieces of a shattered mirror
A new landscape is reflected
On this morning of beginning, my window is silent
Body turned to zero, be filled to the brim
I won't keep looking beyond the sea
Because I found that the shining thing I sought
Has always been here within me

HeartBreak Hotel by Elvis Presley
Well, since my baby left me,
Well, I’ve found a new place to dwell,
Well, it’s down at the end of Lonely Street
At Heartbreak Hotel.
Where I’ll be, I’ll be so lonely, baby
Well, I’m so lonely,
I’ll be so lonely
I could die.
Although it’s always crowded,
You still can find some room
For broken-hearted lovers
To cry there in the gloom,
And be so, and be so lonely, baby
And be so lonely,
Ah, they’re so lonely
They could die.
Now the bellhop’s tears keep flowing,
The desk clerk’s dressed in black.
Well, they’ve been so long on Lonely Street,
They’ll never, they’ll never look back.
And they’ll get so, and they’ll get so lonely, baby, baby.
Well, they’re so lonely,
Well, they’re so lonely
They could die.
Well if your baby leaves you
And you’ve got a tale to tell,
Well, just take a walk down Lonely Street
To Heartbreak Hotel,
Where you’ll be, where you’ll be so lonely baby,
Well, you’ll be lonely.
You’ll be so lonely
You could die.
Although it’s always crowded,
You still can find some room
For broken-hearted lovers
To cry there in the gloom,
And they get so, and they get so lonely, baby,
Well, they’re so lonely,
They’ll be so lonely
They could die.

Carole King - You've Got A Friend
When you're down and troubled
and you need a helping hand
and nothing, whoa nothing is going right.
Close your eyes and think of me
and soon I will be there
to brighten up even your darkest night
you just call out my name
and you know where ever I am
I'll come running, oh yeah baby
to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You've got a friend.
If the sky above you
should turn dark and full of clouds
and that old north wind should begin to blow
Keep your head together and call my name out loud
and soon I will be knocking upon your door.
You just call out my name and you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer or fall
all you got to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend?
People can be so cold.
They'll hurt you and desert you.
Well they'll take your soul if you let them.
Oh yeah, but don't you let them.
You just call out my name and you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Oh babe, don't you know that,
Winter spring summer or fall,
Hey now, all you've got to do is call.
Lord, I'll be there, yes I will.
You've got a friend
Ain't it good to know you've got a friend

[b]BroKen Home BY James Merrill[/b}
The Broken Home
Crossing the street,
I saw the parents and the child
At their window, gleaming like fruit
With evening's mild gold leaf.
In a room on the floor below,
Sunless, cooler—a brimming
Saucer of wax, marbly and dim—
I have lit what's left of my life.
I have thrown out yesterday's milk
And opened a book of maxims.
The flame quickens. The word stirs.
Tell me, tongue of fire,
That you and I are as real
At least as the people upstairs.
My father, who had flown in World War I,
Might have continued to invest his life
In cloud banks well above Wall Street and wife.
But the race was run below, and the point was to win.
Too late now, I make out in his blue gaze
(Through the smoked glass of being thirty-six)
The soul eclipsed by twin black pupils, sex
And business; time was money in those days.
Each thirteenth year he married. When he died
There were already several chilled wives
In sable orbit—rings, cars, permanent waves.
We'd felt him warming up for a green bride.
He could afford it. He was "in his prime"
At three score ten. But money was not time.
When my parents were younger this was a popular act:
A veiled woman would leap from an electric, wine-dark car
To the steps of no matter what—the Senate or the Ritz Bar—
And bodily, at newsreel speed, attack
No matter whom—Al Smith or José María Sert
Or Clemenceau—veins standing out on her throat
As she yelled War mongerer! Pig! Give us the vote!,
And would have to be hauled away in her hobble skirt.
What had the man done? Oh, made history.
Her business (he had implied) was giving birth,
Tending the house, mending the socks.
Always that same old story—
Father Time and Mother Earth,
A marriage on the rocks.
One afternoon, red, satyr-thighed
Michael, the Irish setter, head
Passionately lowered, led
The child I was to a shut door. Inside,
Blinds beat sun from the bed.
The green-gold room throbbed like a bruise.
Under a sheet, clad in taboos
Lay whom we sought, her hair undone, outspread,
And of a blackness found, if ever now, in old
Engravings where the acid bit.
I must have needed to touch it
Or the whiteness—was she dead?
Her eyes flew open, startled strange and cold.
The dog slumped to the floor. She reached for me. I fled.
Tonight they have stepped out onto the gravel.
The party is over. It's the fall
Of 1931. They love each other still.
She: Charlie, I can't stand the pace.
He: Come on, honey—why, you'll bury us all!
A lead soldier guards my windowsill:
Khaki rifle, uniform, and face.
Something in me grows heavy, silvery, pliable.
How intensely people used to feel!
Like metal poured at the close of a proletarian novel,
Refined and glowing from the crucible,
I see those two hearts, I'm afraid,
Still. Cool here in the graveyard of good and evil,
They are even so to be honored and obeyed.
. . . Obeyed, at least, inversely. Thus
I rarely buy a newspaper, or vote.
To do so, I have learned, is to invite
The tread of a stone guest within my house.
Shooting this rusted bolt, though, against him,
I trust I am no less time's child than some
Who on the heath impersonate Poor Tom
Or on the barricades risk life and limb.
Nor do I try to keep a garden, only
An avocado in a glass of water—
Roots pallid, gemmed with air. And later,
When the small gilt leaves have grown
Fleshy and green, I let them die, yes, yes,
And start another. I am earth's no less.
A child, a red dog roam the corridors,
Still, of the broken home. No sound. The brilliant
Rag runners halt before wide-open doors.
My old room! Its wallpaper—cream, medallioned
With pink and brown—brings back the first nightmares,
Long summer colds, and Emma, sepia-faced,
Perspiring over broth carried upstairs
Aswim with golden fats I could not taste.
The real house became a boarding school.
Under the ballroom ceiling's allegory
Someone at last may actually be allowed
To learn something; or, from my window, cool
With the unstiflement of the entire story,
Watch a red setter stretch and sink in cloud.

For my daughter, Summer. Today's her birthday.
WILD CHILD
All right
Wild child full of grace
Savior of the human race
Your cool face
Natural child, terrible child
Not your mother's or your father's child
Your our child, screamin' wild
An ancient rulage of grains
And the trees of the night
Ha, ha, ha, ha
With hunger at her heels
Freedom in her eyes
She dances on her knees
Pirate prince at her side
Stirrin' into a hollow idols eyes
Wild child full of grace
Savior of the human race
Your cool face
Your cool face
Your cool face
Do you remember when we were in Africa?

THE CHANGELING
Uh!
Uha!
Gedu!
I live uptown
I live downtown
I live all around
I had money, and I had none
I had money, and I had none
But I never been so broke
That I couldn't leave town
I'm a Changeling
See me change
I'm a Changelin'
See me change
I'm the air you breath
Food you eat
Friends your greet
In the sullen street, wow
See me change
See me change, you
I live uptown
I live downtown
I live all around
I had money, yeah, and I had none
I had money, yeah, and I had none
But I never been so broke
That I couldn't leave town
Well, I'm the air you breath
Food you eat
Friends your greet
In the sullen street, wow
Ew ma!
Uh, ah!
You gotta see me change
See me change
Yeah, I'm leavin' town
On a midnight train
Gotta see me change
Change, change, change
Change, change, change
Change, change, change
Change, change, change
Whoa, change, change, change
--------------------------------------------------------------
THE CELEBRATION OF THE LIZARD
Lions in the street and roaming
Dogs in heat, rabid, foaming
A beast caged in the heart of a city
The body of his mother
Rotting in the summer ground
He fled the town
He went down South and crossed the border
Left the chaos and disorder
Back there over his shoulder
One morning he awoke in a green hotel
With a strange creature groaning beside him
Sweat oozed from its shiny skin
Is everybody in?
The ceremony is about to begin
Wake up!
You can't remember where it was
Had this dream stopped?
The snake was pale gold
Glazed and shrunken
We were afraid to touch it
The sheets were hot dead prisons
Now, run to the mirror in the bathroom
Look!
I can't live thru each slow century of her moving
I let my cheek slide down
The cool smooth tile
Feel the good cold stinging blood
The smooth hissing snakes of rain . . .
Once I had, a little game
I liked to crawl back into my brain
I think you know the game I mean
I mean the game called 'go insane'
Now you should try this little game
Just close your eyes forget your name
Forget the world forget the people
And we'll erect a different steeple
This little game is fun to do
Just close your eyes no way to lose
And I'm right there I'm going too
Release control we're breaking thru
Way back deep into the brain
Back where there's never any pain
And the rain falls gently on the town
And in the labyrinth of streams
Beneath, the quiet unearthly presence of
Nervous hill dwellers in the gentle hills around
Reptiles abounding
Fossils, caves, cool air heights
Each house repeats a mold
Windows rolled
Beast car locked in against morning
All now sleeping
Rugs silent, mirrors vacant
Dust blind under the beds of lawful couples
Wound in sheets
And daughters, smug
With semen eyes in their nipples
Wait
There's been a slaughter here
(Don't stop to speak or look around
Your gloves and fan are on the ground
We're getting out of town
We're going on the run
And you're the one I want to come)
Not to touch the earth
Not to see the sun
Nothing left to do, but
Run, run, run
Let's run
House upon the hill
Moon is lying still
Shadows of the trees
Witnessing the wild breeze
C'mon baby run with me
Let's run
Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let's run
The mansion is warm, at the top of the hill
Rich are the rooms and the comforts there
Red are the arms of luxuriant chairs
And you won't know a thing till you get inside
Dead president's corpse in the driver's car
The engine runs on glue and tar
C'mon along, we're not going very far
To the East to meet the Czar
Some outlaws lived by the side of the lake
The minister's daughter's in love with the snake
Who lives in a well by the side of the road
Wake up, girl! We're almost home
Sun, sun, sun
Burn, burn, burn
Soon, soon, soon
Moon, moon, moon
I will get you
Soon!
Soon!
Soon!
Let the carnival bells ring
Let the serpent sing
Let everything
We came down
The rivers and highways
We came down from
Forests and falls
We came down from
Carson and Springfield
We came down from
Phoenix enthralled
And I can tell you
The names of the Kingdom
I can tell you
The things that you know
Listening for a fistful of silence
Climbing valleys into the shade
'I am the Lizard King
I can do anything
I can make the earth stop in its tracks
I made the blue cars go away
For seven years I dwelt
In the loose palace of exile
Playing strange games
With the girls of the island
Now I have come again
To the land of the fair, and the strong, and the wise
Brothers and sisters of the pale forest
O Children of Night
Who among you will run with the hunt?
Now Night arrives with her purple legion
Retire now to your tents and to your dreams
Tomorrow we enter the town of my birth
I want to be ready'

I'm My Own Grandpa
by Grandpa Jones
Many many years ago
when I was twenty three,
I got married to a widow
who was pretty as could be.
This widow had a grown-up daughter
Who had hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.
This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
My daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.
To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy,
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.
My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.
For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.
Father's wife then had a son,
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.
My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She's my grandmother too.
If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.
For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw.
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa!

That's why we drink it here
And when we're gone from here
Our friends will be drinking all the beer

Terrible Lie by NIN
[Hey God] Why are you doing this to me?
Am I not living up to what I'm supposed to be?
Why am I seething with this animosity?
[Hey God] I think you owe me a great big apology
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
[Hey God] I really don't know what you mean
Seems like salvation comes only in our dreams
I feel my hatred grow all the more extreme
[Hey God] Can this world really be as sad as it seems?
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Don't take it away from me, I need you to hold on to
Don't take it away from me, I need someone to hold on to
Don't tear it away from me, I need you to hold on to
Don't tear it away from me, I need someone to hold on to
Don't tear it away from me, I need you to hold on to
Don't tear it, don't tear it, don't tear it, don't tear it, don't
[Hey God] there's nothing left for me to hide
I lost my ignorance, security and pride
I'm all alone in the world you must despise
[Hey God] I believed your promises, your promises and lies!
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
Terrible lie
You made me throw it all away
My morals left to decay
How many you betray
You've taken everything
Terrible lie
My head is filled with disease
My skin is begging you please
I'm on my hands and knees
I want so much to believe
I give you everything..
my sweet everything..
I need someone to hold on to
I need someone, I need someone
I need someone to hold on to
YOU LIED by green day
You gotta problem you just can't hide
Compulsive habits that never seem to die
Your breath is taking up all the air
Your teeth are rotting to black holes in your head
Well reality is due
What you say just can't be true
When the story's streched and so far fetched
That you're lacking an excuse...
You Lied.
Your mother allowed you just one white lie
But now she's dead and she left you with a problem
Pinocchio has pierced your tongue
Your nose is growin' into the 3rd dimension
Well reality is due
What you say just can't be true
When the story's stretched and so far fetched
That you're lacking an excuse...
You Lied.
Well reality is due
What you say just can't be true
When the story is stretched and so far fetched
That you're lacking an excuse...
You Lied.
YOU LIED by Tool
Setting sun can't shine, now you're gone
Inside sleeping, my heart beating
You know that you tried to hide it
Couldn't you have said what you meant? Oh...
Time heals, time congeals around us
Endless hours of wasted moments
Understanding, not demanding
Your eyes tell what you feel inside
Setting sun can't shine, now you're gone
Inside sleeping, my heart beating
You know that you tried to hide it
Shouldn't you have said what you meant?
YOU LIED!
String of Lies by the Goo Goo Dolls
I've got no politics no influential friend or two
I've got ideas but it's nothing I picked up at school
I might be running but I'm never running back to you
And here's a letter from the real world I don't expect you'll reply
And anything you're gonna tell me it's just another lie
I had to wait so long that weeks and months that passed me by
You've got no power and my situation don't apply
You ask me how I am I lie and say I'm doing fine
And with your sugar sweetened alibi there was a truth I never knew
And all the attitude you gave me it's coming back to you
String of lies it's always compromise with you
String of lies you know there's nothing left to do
String of lies it's been a string of lies with you
And here's a letter from the real world I don't expect your reply
And anything you're gonna tell me it's just another lie
String of lies we always compromise for you
String of lies you know there's nothing left to do
String of lies it's been a string of lies with you
String of lies we always compromise for you
And here's a letter from the real world

U2 - Stay
Green light, Seven Eleven
You stop in, for a parck of cigarettes
You don't smoke, you don't even want to
Hey now, check your change
Dressed up, like a car crash
Your wheels are turning, but you're upside fown
You say when he hits you, you don't mind
Because when he hurts you, you feel alive
Is that what it is
Red light, gray morning
You stumble out of a hole in the ground
A vampire, or a victim
It depends on who's around
You used to stay in, to watch the adverts
You could lip synch, to the talk show
And if you look, you look through me
And when you talk, you talk at me
And whan I touch you, you don't feel a thing
If I could stay, then the night would give you up
Stay, and the day will break its stride
Stay, and the night will be enough
Far away, so close
Up with the static, and the radio
With satellite television
You could go anywhere
Miami, New Orleans
London, Belfast then back home
And if you listen, I can't call
And if you jump, you just might fall
And if you shout, I'll only hear you
If I could stay
Then the night would give you up
Stay, then the day would keep you strong
Stay, with the demons you drown
Stay, with the spirit I found
Stay, and the night would be enough
Three o'clock, in the morning
It's quet and there's no one around
Just a bang and a clatter
As an angel runs to ground
Just a bang
And a clatter
As an angel
Hits the ground

Sorry to dp, just listened to this for the first time in aaaages and couldn't resist
Shania Twain - That Don't Impress Me Much
I've known a few guys who thought they were pretty smart
But you've got being right down to an art
You think you're a genius, you drive me up the wall
You're a regular original know-it-all
Oh-oh, you think you're special
Oh-oh, you think you're something else
Okay so you're a rocket scientist
That don't impress me much
So you got the brain but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night
That don't impress me much
I never knew a guy who carried a mirror in his pocket
And a comb up his sleeve--just in case
And all that extra hold gel in your hair oughtta lock it
'Cause Heaven forbid it should fall outta place
Oh-oh, you think you're special
Oh-oh, you think you're something else
Okay, so you're Brad Pitt
That don't impress me much
So you got the looks but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night
That don't impress me much
You're one of those guys who likes to shine his machine
You make me take off my shoes before you let me get in
I can't believe you kiss your car good night
C'mon baby tell me--you must be jokin', right!
Oh-oh, you think you're special
Oh-oh, you think you're something else
Okay, so you've got a car
That don't impress me much
So you got the moves but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night
That don't impress me much
You think you're cool but have you got the touch
Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright
But that won't keep me warm on the long, cold, lonely night
That don't impress me much
Okay, so what, do you think you're Elvis or something?!
Whatever!
That don't impress me...

Hey, that's okay, no one's perfect.
MB20 - Long Day (extended live version)
It's sitting by the overcoat,
the second shelf, the note she wrote,
that I can't bring myself to throw away.
"And also reach", she said,
"for no one else but you,
Cause you won't turn away,
when someone else is gone..."
I'm sorry 'bout the attitude
I need to give when I'm with you,
but no one else would take this sh*t from me.
And I'm so terrified of no one else but me.
I'm here all the time. I won't go away.
It's me, yeah I can't get myself to go away.
It's me, and I can't get myself to go away,
oh God I shouldn't feel this way now...
Reach down your hand in your pocket.
Pull out some hope for me,
it's been a long day, always ain't that right.
And no Lord your hand won't stop it.
Just keep you trembling.
It's been a long day, always ain't that right...
Well I'm surprised that you'd believe
in any thing that comes from me.
I didn't hear from you or from someone else.
And you're so set in life man,
a pisser they're waiting,
too damn bad you get so far so fast.
So what, so long...
Reach down your hand in your pocket.
Pull out some hope for me,
it's been a long day, always ain't that right.
And no Lord your hand won't stop it.
Just keep you trembling.
It's been a long day, always ain't that right...
Well fame, makes a man think things over.
Fame, makes it loose, hard to swallow.
Fame, what you get you had to borrow.
Fame...is alright. Fame is alright...
Let's talk about fame,
Let's talk about fame,
Let's talk about fame...
Yeah, it sings to me,
and it says hey, it's me,
but I'm not the me I used to be.
Yeah and I say hey, it's me,
but I'm not the me I used to be.
I get a little upset, I get a little worn down,
I get a little bit nervous, oh when you're around.
I get a little worn in, I feel a little worn out,
oh from every touch, every kiss, every sound that she sings.
She says, "Back straight, get your head up and then down,
get into it a little to appreciate all the best things, you sick beautiful thing.
Yeah, back straight, get your head up then down,
get into it a little to appreciate all the best things."
everytime I make a wrong,
you just turn around and cry, and I ask myself why oh why.
See you must understand, I can't work a 9 to 5.
So I'll be gone... until November,
I'll be gone til November,
I'll be gone til November,
Everytime I tell ya I'll be gone til November,
I'll be gone til November,
I'll be gone til November,
Everytime I tell ya I'll be gone til November,
I'll be gone til November... Oh come on...
"You're down", she said,
"You know you shouldn't get so upset."
But it gets me over, and it clears my head.
"You're down", she said,
"you know you shouldn't get so upset child."
But it gets me over, and it clears my head...
I know you got a little life in you yet,
and I know you have a lot of strength left.
I know you got a little life in you yet,
and I know you have a lot of strength left.
Hell I know you got a little life in you yet,
and I bet you got a lot of strength left...for me...
so come on... it's me, yeah and I can't get myself to go away.
It's me, yeah and I can't get myself to go away,
oh God I shouldn't feel this way now...
Reach down your hand in your pocket.
Pull out some hope for me,
it's been a long day, always ain't that right.
And no Lord your hand won't stop it.
Just keep you trembling.
It's been a long day, always ain't that right.
Oh ain't that right.
Oh ain't that right.
Oh ain't that right, right, right on child?
Right, right, right on, right on child,
Yeah well here I am.
So come on...

Bringin on the Heartbreak by Def Leppard
Gypsy, sittin' lookin' pretty
The broken rose with laughin' eyes
You're a mystery, always runnin' wild
Like a child without a home
You're always searching, searching for a feeling
That it's easy come and easy go
Oh I'm sorry but it's true
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Takin' all the best of me
Oh can't you see?
You got the best of me
Whoah can't you see?
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
Can't you see?
Oh whoah
You're such a secret, misty eyed and shady
Lady how you hold the key
Oh you're like a candle, your flame slowly fadin'
Burnin' out and burnin' me
Can't you see?
Just try and say to you
You're bringin' on the heartache
Takin' all the best of me
Oh can't you see?
You got the best of me
Whoah can't you see?
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
Can't you see?
Can't you see?
No no no
You got the best of me
Oh can't you see?
You got the best of me
Whoah can't you see?
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Bringin' on the heartache
You're bringin' on the heartbreak
Goodmorning Heartache by Ella Fitzgerald
Good morning heartache
You old gloomy sight
Good morning heartache
Thought we said goodbye last night
I turned and tossed until it seems you heve gone
But here you are with the dawn
Wish I forget you, but you're here to stay
It seems I met you
When my love went away
Now everyday I stop I'm saying to you
Good morning heartache what's new
Stop haunting me now
Can't shake you no how
Just leave me alone
I've got those Monday blues
Straight to Sunday blues
Good morning heartache
Here we go again
Good morning heartache
You're the one
Who knows me well
Might as well get use to you hanging around
Good morning heartache
Sit down
Don't Break My Heart Slow by Vonda Shepard
I like the way you wanted me,
Every night for so long baby,
And I like the way you needed me,
Every time things got rocky.
I was believing in you,
Was I mistaken, do you say...do you say what you mean,
I want our love to last forever.
But I'd rather you be mean,
Then love and lie,
I'd rather hear the truth,
And have to say goodbye,
I'd rather take a blow,
At least then I would know,
But baby, don't you break my heart slow.
Nooooo
I like the way you'd hold me,
Every night, for so long baby,
I like the way you'd say my name,
In the middle of the night,
While you are sleeping.
I was believing in you,
Was I mistaken, do you mean...do you mean what you say,
When you say our love could last forever.
Well I'd rather you be mean,
Then love and lie,
I'd rather hear the truth,
Than have to say goodbye,
I'd rather take a blow,
At least then I would know,
But baby, don't you break my heart slow.
Nooo
You'd run around,
And lead me on forever,
While I'd wait at home,
Still thinking we're together,
I wanted our love to last forever.
I was believing in you....
I'd rather you be mean,
Then love and lie,
I'd rather hear the truth,
Than have to say goodbye,
I'd rather take a blow,
At least then I would know,
But baby, don't you break my heart slow.
Nooooo
Don't love and lie,
I'd rather hear the truth,
Then have to say goodbye.
I'd rather take a blow,
At least then I would know.
But, baby dont you break my heart slow.
Baby dont you break my heart ................slow
