KFC is not the be all and end all of fried chicken. There's Popeye's, Churches, Lee's, Roy Rogers, Browns, and many others. In Chicago, the best Friend Chicken can only be found in Black neighborhoods, and Harold's Chicken Shacks (YUM!). Their BBQd friend chicken is the bomb! In Frankenmuth, MI, there's a famous resteraunt that serves all you can eat fried chicken and mashed potatoes! It's been shown on Wild Chicago, and is highly recommended by Bunnygrrl's cousin from Detroit.

I myself used to make a damn fine fried bird, but I haven't done it in so long (11 years) that I've forgotten how.

Not only do I have a problem with the fact that this thread was started to troll us non - racists into calling Faded Glory racist so that he could then reply "wtf it's a joke you have no lives you're taking this way too seriously" and thus look 'cool' in comparison, I also have a problem with the fact that a person who doesn't eat any chicken just isn't that funny of a thing, black or otherwise.

Anyway, in the past beef was out of the reach of blacks. Chickens and pigs were often raised on the side by blacks and therefore became a staple of their diet, along with self grown garden goods.
