No, it is certainly not a fast game.
Several of the nations have had more than 1 master, and a few more than 2(!).
Added to this post:
Have just nexted Frazer, but it seems like he had played and forwarded to Nimrod without sending copy to me. Anyway, Nimrod have also played and forwarded his turn to Hatschy so the game is running again (for a little while......).
