"The Natives are Restless"
Is that what you were thinking of, Bird?
Dkorkh, yes, I guess we do have enough people to play now... we just need everybody's preferred nation and somebody willing to set it up for us.
And if I understand Team Spirit style correctly, there are four players, each with two nations, and each player's two nations are allied with each other.
Otherwise, we're like a Great Alliances game: four players, two nations each, and two players allied.

Should we "close" the game with 7 players only? Seems to give problems finding enough "free room" for 8 nations. Pls comment on this:
I will post this in the thread and ask for proposals/suggestions.

Yeah, but think that the rest players will have the advantage of more
space and less chances for early war.
That would boost their civs more than the ones in Asia.
Well, it's your game so it's your call ;-)

Persians have to stay at their natural place - maybe a little towards
India.
I know, that it will not be possible for the nations to grow large
before the first quarrels will show up - but as this will be a bloodlust
game, then let it be so.

And where am I going to put the Persians?
If in their natural territory then you understand the problem that will
be caused with the Turks and the Aussies or even the Chinese (ex Tai)
;-)

If we could pull the turks a little down towards Egypt and the Chinese
(me) up to the northern china/korea... then.
And yes, the thread is here:

Sure Max, I'll help you out.
7 people could fit in the world map but 8 would probably cause problems.
That would mean either 4 players in Asia-Australia or 3 players in
America. Putting a player in Middle East would force him to expand to
Southeast Europe and North America. Putting a player in Australia would
force him to expand in Southeast and South Asia. Putting a player in Far
East would force him to expand West/North. Putting a 4th player where
would I put him? Siberia?
Have you though of an alternative?
Is there a thread about this game?

Hi Keygen.
Could I/we persuade you to set up a new socalled world game?
Name: VultureBreath
Type: Bloodlust.
Other settings as usual for the worldgames - starting positions as close
as possible to how it is in the real world. Don't think there are ruins,
right?
Players:
1. TheBirdMan - Thailand
2. Dkorkh - Viking
3. Nimrod - Turkish
4. Nukeboy - Zulu
5. Hunter - Brazilian
6. Flameflash - Native American
7. Darkheart - Persians (with leader name Xerxes I)
(8. OPEN SLOT)
You shall be welcome to add yourself as no 8.

I think pulling the starting location for the Turkish towards the egyptian starting location and the persian location a little towards the indian starting location is the best way to deal with the close proximity problem.
Or you might pull the turkish even beyond the egyptian starting location, towards algeria or libia.
