Remind me how - I can't seem to find it and I'm not going to search everywhere for it. I would think it would be in the display CP, with the checkboxes for all the other desktop icons, but it's not there.

Go to: Start > Run

Type: gpedit.msc

Navigate to: User Configuration >Administrative Templates > Desktop.

On the right hand plane find " Remove Recycle Bin icon on the desktop ", double-click to open its properties window, and then ENABLE it, and the bin's gone.

meh, tried Trillan...don't like it all that much...takes away a lot of good features...plus I have MyAIM which is sorta the 'Light' version of AIM...none of the crap...just a buddy list, profile, and messaging...no ads and such...and cloning capabilities...

Whoops. I used a keygen for StyleXP. Though before I installed SP1, I was able to uninstall StyleXP and use the uithemepatcher thing solely. I'm not sure if I could still do it now, though.

I guess I haven't been able to find one of those around. 1.01M, the latest one, seems to be defeating everything that I've tried! The uxtheme patcher doesn't work in SP1, or at least it didn't used to. I wish somebody would make another one of these.

Just laughing at the phallic Babylon 5 ship when Jupiter reminded of a huge mammary gland. *sigh* These lines of thought can be so disturbing.

Am I the only one who detests images on my laptop and prefers patterns? Unfortunately I can't show my desktop cause its somewhere else at the moment, but I prefer the Zapotec pattern in Windows 2000. Whats great is if you cross your eyes it becomes 3d. God I'm boring.
