If you can get as far as Hull Bas you have transportation to wherever you need to go in the country (I have a car and live in Hull )

It's miles. The point is that if I go to Shrewsbury I may as well go all the way to Aberystwyth...

And my offer was actually meant to be within context of getting to poly meeting and back, and whatever assistance Bas may need whilst in Hull in terms of accommodation...

I think that there are ferries going to Hull from somewhere in the Netherlands, I have to check. If I'm actually able to come, and if it's not too much of a detour, it sounds like a good option.

I should be able to make it provided I'm not blown up by Muslim extremists in SE Asia...

I vote Bristol because it's been longer since I've been there than any of the other places.

Of course, the other places will be far easier to get to - being a Londoner myself!

Keep me posted with the final outcome as I've been very busy sorting out my travel plans and will basically be incommunicado for the next couple of months...
