Why the heck do you want to fear for your life Hobbes? I've feared for my life. It's not fun. It's just terrifying. Is it just so that you can feel something very powerful or something? There's other, better intense emotions, I think.

I tend to react too slow to dangerous situations. I was mugged once. I really didn't have time to think about attacking the guy. I just gave them the money. But afterwords I think about all these things I could have done. But my brain freezes up to much in situations like that. I guess I don't have combat instincts. That worries me because I own a gun, and am a very good shot. But what good is that if freeze up too much and don't kill the intruder?

I was working, and we got robbed. He ran in the door with gun drawn, and I just started screaming. I think my manager had that slowed down reaction because he jumped up and ran to the shot gun, but by the time he reached it the guy was standing right in front of him. You always have a disadvantage when surprised. It sucks. I'm just glad he wasn't one of those guys who gets off on killing people for no reason during robberies.

actually it was more of a home invasion than a mugging. But I feel embarrassed calling it that. I was a moron for opening the door on the guy. I thought it was a friend of a guy who was living with us. He has scummy looking friends. I feel so stupid for opening the door.

Unless its some hot chick I never open the door for strangers.

Although that got me in trouble. Because I opened the door for 2 hot teenage girls once. But it turned out they were jehovah's witness'

Hmm, a lot of these wishes seem a bit immature, although its fun to dream.

Instead I'm up at 7am trying to finish some copy on Paul Burrell. Fuck it!
