exactly.....especially in the early game.....turns really dont need to take more than 20-30 seconds.....so this thing can really slow you down....

i would vote to disable in duels , say until 1500bc....by which time most of the map is already explored....

four man games, so long as you do it on someone elses turn, i dnt have a problem with it.... but if you use it on your turn, and you used to play fast, were going to know

I concur. Always outlawed during your turn, but if you can limit it's use during other's turns, no problem.

On the other hand, I always take a few seconds on the first turn I see a hut to figure out where it's quad is. hmmm. So using this might make it quicker actually.

after you d/l this how do you get it to work.. i extracted to desktop . does the file need to be in the civ directory?

No, just double click on the .exe file after it's extracted.

You will get the title page, and you just click on the blue wording that refers to removing (yes it seems counter-intuitive.)

Download the latest version because seeing it as a map representation is the easiest once a few drinks have gone down.

FF i saw the loser screen twice one game i gave you the cities one game you found me with two cities and i had no chance to defeat you..wow...you are amazing ...whoopee....every other game you have been in , you have been virtually in last place, and certainly below me..... and even in the game where i gave you the cities, you still had your @ss kicked by Rah

just b/c you have 10 cities at the end of the game it doesnt' mean your competitive

And considering that you guys are pretty good, having 10 cities at the end of the game, harrassing people with my troops, and having a good time are good enough for me. I've gotten better, and consider myself competitive considering many people couldn't do what I do.

And I haven't played MP very long either, but I doubt if there is ANY other game you could beat me at, except for Porn-Star trivia.

What else do you play? Age of Empires 2(Haven't played it in two years, but I still could beat you ), Madden Football (I could destroy you with the Bungles), any FPS game (I don't own one, but I am pretty good at all the demos I've ever had). Chess, checkers, pick-up stix, paper-rock-scissors or 52 card pick-up?

I'll beat you at all of them.

P.S. I would gladly commit to a longer game, just the scheduling would be a tad tricky.
