Well that was a joke.. wasn't meant to be in serious tone . It's just friendly bashing we like to do. Just like you guys like to bash us for the scandal in Lahti ski WC, but it means nothing really.. cause we all know you're using doping even more than we ever did.

Anyway, yeah, sure they speak good swedish, and good finnish too. But they do have a funny hybrid language, that no one can understand!

Actually that's my destiny, even my friends don't know in real life when I do it. I have my own sense of humor and not everyone finds it funny. But that's ok, I think they just don't have a sense of humor themselves.

Yep, that hybrid language sounds funny to a Finn. I don't think it's so hard to understand though. My ad hoc theory is that the logic behind it goes like this...

1. a new slang word appears in the Finnish language, for example "heittää", "to say (something unexpected)", originally meaning "to throw"

2. a bilingual Swedish speaker can't come up with a Swedish equivalent to "heittää"

3. voilà: "...och sen heittä han att det inte blah blah..."

Exactly! Don't you think the average sports fan here had the exact same thoughts? The professional athletes are not in it for the health or fun, but for the position, and their living too, sometimes it's the same thing. They are willing to use just enough to not get caught.

Aivopuoliso, well.. I speak swedish pretty lousy, so that might exlpain why I can't understand it so good.. Finno-Swedes likes to speak with each other in swedish and every now and then mix it with finnish, like in your example . That is pretty understandable, but some people speak mixing them so much, it's very hard to follow!

about that Norwegian sports doctor who stepped forward and said investigation is needed. Definitely huge conspiracy of doping! This we know.. only thing we don't know yet is how large conspiracy actually is.

He talked about blood samples etc, which were VERY conserning, and has been for a long long time.. but it has been kept a secret! And he is tired of it! Just wait and see...

Gangerwolf, I'd say it was on the radio about .. a month ago? It's not very old news.. and after that it was all over the papers. It's still going on in here. It was on the television too. And the case is very much just starting.

Yeah, those two big guys. They got caught this summer, it was pretty much clear then, they just got their penalties. Last time they got the headlines was when they started drinking heavily in a plane and getting aggressive, so they had to remove them .
Also the other guy was arrested earlier because he was caught for DUI, and cops found out he had lost his drivers license 10 years ago .

No, it's definitely a different case. That was on our news too, but it was like the next day or something like that, that it was corrected. And the guy got money out of it, because of the faulty claims. But that was a different case, and it was clearly said so.

Maybe you're thinking of Jim Stray-Gundersen who claims that many of the bloodsamples from Lahti '01 were manipulated (too little blood). But that isn't spesifically about the Norwegian team.
