Nice work Curt I've just seen your V2 mobile launcher - it looks fantastic. Did the Germans really have those?

BTW, I thought you already made a nice B17?

Pap: Nemo's Wellington looked a bit non-Wellington like, so I made this:

The Welly! Excellent work!
I was hoping someone would make this!

The V2 mobile is a bit hypothetical, but it would make a useful 1946-type unit!

I think I have a D4 around here someplace...

EDIT: well I do, but it's so far off from the normal 256-color civ pallette that it simply will not do.

I am looking for some hungarian (Turan I and II) or romanian tanks for my ww2 scenario. Anything available ? Which aircrafts were used by these nations in ww2 ? I think some oldfashioned german ones, like the early Me109 in later war. But which planes were used in 1940 ongoing ? Also anything available ?

Steff, I know that the Romanians were given some French planes after the fall of that country. In particular, the Dewoitine D.520 fighter and the very capable Potez 63 which was configured as a bomber and as a heavy fighter. Also, the Romanians used Italian S.M.79s on the Russian front from 1941 to 1944.

Thanx Caspian. In my scenario the Bulgarians, Romanians and Hungary will be one nation = Achsenmacht. They will have an infantry unit, one tank and one aircraft. What do you think which units I should take ?

Well, do you plan to use multiple event files? If so, I would suggest that you start with the Hungarian Turan 2. In another file replace that same slot with the PzKpfw 38 or Panzer III in 1943. The final tank should be a Panzer IV replaced in the same way. (you would have to alter the units properties in the rules.txt each time you do this).

This would mean that the axis allies don't have to research improved tanks, so I don't know if this would fit into your scenario. However, it does mean that you can have progression without using too many unit slots. Also it can simulate the fact that Germany provided many of their weapons.

This is the method I am using heavily in my own scenario.

As for the air slot. I would start with the french Dewoitine D.520. I'm sure someone has created this unit already. Replacement should be more advanced German or Italian planes such as Bf-109.

The idea with the Dewoitine seems to be good. But the scen will start in 1939 and France still exists. So I would say that in the beginning the Romanians/Bulgarians/Hungarians will not have any planes and after the fall of France/Paris they will get the necessary technic by event to produce french planes. Good idea. Maybe they later will get some Bf109 by event from the germans.

Well, I'm not sure if these counties had domestic aircraft production, but I do know that the Hungarians imported the Italian C.R.42 Falco. This was a Bi Plane. This unit would probably accurately reflect Axis Allied air power in the early years of the war.

Very good. I think I have a Falco. I will change the italian markings and the Achsenmacht has its first aircraft from 1939 to 1940. By the fall of France it will change to the Dewoitine 520 and by 1942 the Achsenmacht will get some old Me109 from Germany by event. First problem solved. Now I have the problem where to get a hungarian Turan 1 or 2 tank.....

I'm very sure that someone has made a Turan. I have searched this Thread for you but I can't see it. Perhaps it was on the old Graphics show case thread. You'll need to ask around. However, I found a French M.S.406 on page 6 that should serve the purposes of a second plane for the Axis Allies.

Unfortunately I do not have so many slots left. The main parts will play the Allies, Russia and of course Germany. France, Italy, Achsenmacht, Neutrals and Scandinavians will only have 1 fighter/1 bomber or only 1 Tac bomber. Same for tanks. Only the first three nations will have the technic for three different fighters/bombers and up to 4 different tanks. So Achsenmacht will have in the beginning the Falco and by events the Dewoitine and Me 109.

. So Achsenmacht will have in the beginning the Falco and by events the Dewoitine and Me 109.

As far as I know, besides the reggia aeronautica, only the hungarians & swedes posessed the Reggiane 2000 falco. The magyars bought 70 and built about 190 on their own. The aircraft is somewhat smaller than the Machis and Fiats, and looks very different. I'll draw one right away. The rest of the eastern axis allies (not the finns) started the war with lots of polish made PZL 24s, which I've already painted (with Bulgarian/ Romanian markings and camo), along with the dewoitine, which are here, a few pages back. The Romanians actually produced a Me-109 influenced (wings/ fuselage) PZL variant for themselves. As for other planes, the Hungarians also had Fiat CR 32/ CR40s. SM79 bombers were used by romania, along with PZL 37 (which saw service up to the late 50s).All of Germany's allies got stukas and me 109's and some got do 17 & ju 88 bombers. Hungary even got Me 210's, which is the next project I'll do. Some anti-tank Hs 129's fought for Romania. Besides Dewoitines, they also got some Bloch 151s (yes Bloch is Dasault) and Potez 63, which I've also done. Pre-war Romania got some Blenheims too. I know

Tanelorn, we were refering to the Fiat C.R.42 falco and not the Reggiane 2000 falco. The Fiat version is an older bi-plane
