More imortant than size, frankly, is proportion. While I personally agree with monkspider in terms of what body shape I find most attractive, I think the key is to have a well proportioned shape, whether someone is thin or not. The problem with many modern models and so forth is that they are not proportioned correctly, as far as hip v waist v chest goes: and this goes both ways. Someone with a very thin waist and hips but a large chest, due to augmentation, does not look right, in my view.

As for betty: didn't playboy start in 1954? And playboy is getting slaughtered by Maxim and FHM anyway.

Anyway, Playboy models have become less curvy, but not drastically, just a result of the fitness movement. Certainly not like runway models who look far too much like stick figures. Karen McDougal is still the most beautiful playmate ever imo with Marianne Gravette having the prettiest face.

Actually, what you prefer is quite likely either:

a) what your mother had
(i.e. first breasts you saw - probably. Oedipus stuff is freaky, but often accurate)

b) what your first girlfriend had
(i.e. first breasts you had any kind of sexual experience with - probably)

Those things can leave a mark on the mind that never goes away.

I dunno FP, sound reasoning and all but my first girlfriend had remarkably tiny boobs (probably an A cup, no less), and I never lived with my mom.
So maybe this does have to do with my first girlfriend, but instead I feel a need to overcompensate . Who knows.

Anyway, on topic, Playboy is making a ghastly mistake, and hips and breasts are still where it's at.

I agree with those who say that it is the factors in combination with one another which really get me, and not any one feature in itself. It isn't the individual notes, it's the chord they produce. Of course one shouldn't underestimate the value of a beautiful face, as so much information passes across and through it, but in general no other particular feature will grab me by itself.

When I was younger I only liked medium to tall athletic girls with brown or black hair, and medium to smallish well-shaped breasts. Over the years as I dated and slept with a wider and wider assortment of women I began to broaden my horizons significantly. I still like the sort of girls I liked when I was young, but now I like a lot more, from waifs like Wynona Ryder to Amazons like Kristen Johnson (sp?), to buxom babes like those in Playboy, to skinny girls who have the devil in their eyes, any breast size, any hair color, it's all good.

For some reason magazines were one month ahead. That january issue was published in december. This stopped sometime in the late 80's early 90's, I think. I remember Playboy put out a special year-end issue, then started publishing the magazines in the current month.
