I get more blank pages with just UUUUUU here at home on the dialup connection, but I rarely (if ever) got that at school on the network. Instead I got messy headers like what Trip posted a bunch on the network.

Uuuu for me, but the whole page came all wierd and screwed up. All in text. I tried to post it here, but it was over 86 000 characters long, so i couldn't. I don't know much about computers, so I don't know what this means. I can e-mail it to you if you want, Markos.

I see that people have their UUUU's at the top of the page, or instead of any content.

But how about a UUUU in the middle of an OK HTTP header? Talk about irony.

I think I had it a couple times with Opera 6.05, but I am yet to encounter it with Opera 7.

I've been getting then recently on a variety of IE's - 4.0 upwards.
I'm wondering if it's conected to the losing your post problem. You can't now just click the 'back' button twice and 'refresh' to recover your lost post(which was annoying by itself!). Once you see the 'can't find relevent link' thingie(cause you've been signed out after a period of time) you have lost your post forever

(yes i know cut+paste from wordpad, but i was used to the hidden feature of apolyton and have lost a good half dozen posts recently)

Yes, I have had loads of UUUUUUUUUs tonight, but I also got this variation on the theme:

I've seen that a couple of times. The stuff appears instead of the little link bar on the top of the page. One that starts with "Today on Apolyton". So, that bar has some junk instead of the links, and then the rest of the page is displayed normally.
