black Rocket fuel coffee to clear the head-sludge. A cigarette to ease the shakes and a dump to clear the tubes. Laying on the lawn and such is also good.

Alvas remedy was the one I was going to post without the puking part. When I did that, excluding puking, I was always in fine condition in the morning, after repeating the procedure of course. Works like a charm. I don't know, maybe it would work even better with that puking.

But then again, I don't drink anymore... I won't be missing hangovers.

Before going to bed, drink lots of water or milk or some other non-alcoholic stuff. That usually helps somewhat. For the morning after: eat, preferably something with a lot of meat. Sausages, bacon, that kind of stuff. If you can't stomach that in the morning/afternoon, just stay in bed.

Actually, I should just get all trashed tonight.. drink like crazy, maybe get beaten, lose all my money, get beaten again and from the police station to home.
It's like turning a new leaf, starting over, since this is my year of successes and all.. I could really start over that way .

Drink premium beers. You get drunk quicker but there are less preservatives and other crap which will mess you up even more the next day. Never eat when drunk as your body is in no state to properly digest the food. While hung over drink lots of clear fluids and don't eat anything at all untill evening.

Other than that it's a good idea to drink so much that you're still drunk when you wake up the next day. Still being drunk also helps ease the shame of the previous nights escapades.

Aloe vera juice mixed with alfalfa power (or other source of condensed chlorophyll) and a Vitamin C drink mix.

A gave this to a buddy who was so sick he could hardly stand up. A half hour later, he was out the door, feeling fine.

Bas, well.. I drink if I want to.. I just don't want to drink so often.. You know I planned 'sports drinking'.. drinking as a sport, I had 2 week drinking bindge this summer. I thought it was funny and cool, I wore sneakers and my jogging suit too. So I drank 2 weeks, after that I didn't feel that good, I was very expensive and all.. so no, I don't drink that often, even though I was supposed to brake my record and make it a whole month. Won't happen. It's not fun anymore.

simplest way to avoid a hangover is to never stop drinking.

can't believe you all stop you big jessies. if you can't handle drinking anymore, i.e. because you're sleeping then just buy yourself a nice IV drip and voila, 24/7 ingestion of alcohol. foolproof.

or i guess you could just drink alcohol-free beer. somehow that justs seems a little bit of an oxymoron to me.

a serious tip to end things, watch out for Stella Artois. It may taste far better than other beers but it has one hell of a hangover effect. 3 or 4 stellas can give you a hangover most other beers can't inflict without you drinking 7 or 8 the previous night.

Oh yeah other tip - if you've been clubbing heavily, don't get a taxi home 'cos you'll just fall asleep as soon as you get home and will be hungover as buggery the next day. If I can, I walk home ( unless I won't be sleeping when I go home ) as that means I have the time it takes to get back to work off some of the alcohol. A bit of water as well and no hangover

On New Year's I got back and decided to beat my housem8 up at PES & Tekken on the PS2 whilst very drunk. Sadly for his pride, even though I was seeing double I still beat him. Made tag fighting hard, which is my character again? quite amusing indeed
