I was thinking it is more of an Asuka/Rei combo.

Asuka's long hair and Rei's wolfy hair style. Eyes are wrong though, but that is to be expected since eyes are rather hard to draw.

I pretty much draw a shield-like shape for a face, add two big eyes and add dot for nose anda small line for a mouth. Trick is getting a nice shape for a face and making good eyes. You really dont need much detail for face after that. Obviously I still need to play around with hairs... Im horrible at it..

To work on body, you gotta kinda practice alot. Try drawing your own hand and feet and stuff.

Hmm, I thought the hair was fine, it was the eyes that let the pic down... eyes are always hardest for me, particularly as they are always the focus of a face.

I wonder going OT on a OT thread is a crime...

Something I drew while doing volutary-working teaching sunday school at local church. I tried to draw them in their natural state, but if they know you are drawing they don't stop nagging you and bothering you with unnatural poses. But they give up easily if you ignore them . It's a pain to draw them because they move around so much. It's hard to capture a mental image of them. Photographing them is easier though...

But re: the new sketch, the eyes let the pic down, they just don't look right. I don't think you have any problems with hair at all. The face is a little square, but would look fine if you smoothed the pointy bit on the left hand side. Great work! Show us more! If you have much, please start a thread and post all you like. I'd like to see it.
