China-Any attempt to subvert the democratic government of Vietnam will be regarded as a crime against the ideals of liberty and democracy which are supported throughout the South-East Asian Treaty Organization. Perhaps it should be awarded to an independant allignment if a US occupation is completely unacceptable. I forward the Un-Alligned Nations.
Russia-Afghanistan is truly the sister-nation of Pakistan, a constituent nation of SEATO. Therefore, SEATO will support the independent nation of Afghanistan resist Soviet domination, and will welcome it into the Organization if it so chooses.

Any attempt to interfere in the Mdidle Eastern region will be considered as an act of war against the Soviet Union. We are fully prepared to use the full strength of our might in this conflict. You claim to support liberty and democracy? If so then why are you bringing south vietnam back under the French Imperialistic flag? You are hypocrites in your words and actions. You claim to support liberty yet you support the French fight to keep her old empire together. We are not the enemies of the human race, we are trying to help the impoverished popluation of Iran and Afghanistan. Afghanistan and Pakistan may share a border, but these two areas are separate. We are willing to negotiate, however, because we are above petty fighting. The USSR will liberate Iran while SEATO can liberate Afghanistan. This is our offer, accept it, or reject it. If you attmept to interfere, then are you prepared to be the cause of nuclear armageddon? NATO, this is not your conflict. You have no jurisdiction in Iran or Afghanistan, just as the Arab League has no jurisdiction in these countries as they are not Arab. They are not part of NATO because they are not part of the North Atlantic and Afghanistan certainly is not part of South East Asia, so SEATO has no jurisdiction there. We are willing to compromise, however. Look beyond your dislike for Communism, we seek not to expand power, but rather to improve the lives of people throughout the world. The United States claims to support liberty and freedom, yet you have supported the corrupt Shah in Iran that has left his people in poverty and under a dictatorship while you have given him the tools of war he needed for this. We see this is a libertaion of Iran and we are willing to coordinate our efforts there in setting up the laws with the United Nations. The USSR will allow Islam to be freely practiced in Iran and will democratically institute a new government there. The United States continues to support the age old Imperialism and dictatorships in areas such as Iran and South Vietnam. You only support free governments when it is convenient for you but talk of liberty. Do not be hypocrites and live up to your words. Stop supporting these regimes that go against the very principles underwhich your government claims to stand on.

Nonsense. SEATO does not seek to reinstal the French Colonial government, merely to see Vietnam become a free and independent democracy with full respect for human rights. While Afghanistan is not a part of SEATO, the majority of its population is Pashtun, as is the majority of Pakistan. The Pakistani Pashtun will not abide by the conquest and subjugation of their brothers. In addition, SEATO hardly sees Eastern Europe as a rightful part of Soviet Russia. If the USSR was truly the liberating power that it claims to be, it would evacuate Eastern Europe and allow the Un-Alligned Nations to take them.
SEATO is an alliance of democracies and constitutional monarchies with respect for basic human rights, and thus extends an offer of mutual defense and brotherhood to all in Asia who seek democratic rights and respect for private property.

The United States is our foremost ally, and we will not abandon her in her endeavors. Wherever Asians struggle against socialist tyranny, SEATO will be there. SEATO is displeased by the separation of Vietnam, but respects the Geneva Agreements which establish two independent countries.

Nonsense! If you supported an independent Vietnam, you would not have supported the French in the first and second Indo-Chinese wars. The areas we took were part of the Axis fighting against the USSR in World War 2. They had all attacked us, and we retaliated. They are independent countries. If you want us to withdraw from Eastern Europe, dismantle NATO and SEATO completely.
We have placed an offer on the table. your dislike of our economic system has blinded you to see that we are not the aggressors you make us out to be. You, the United States of America, invaded Spanish colonies in 1898. You attacked Mexico in the Mexican War and now you attack North Vietnam. Our conquests of Eastern Europe were through a defensive, not an offensive war like yours were and you claim we are aggressive? You dropped atomic weapons on Japan! You police nations to gain your political desires!
Now, what will it be? The division of Afghanistan and SEATO and Iran under Asia or not? The choic is in your hands but the consequences could be dire.

We all know how the eastern Front was almost lost to the dreaded Storm divisions of the Czechoslovakian, Albanian, Bulgarian, Yugoslavian, and Polish war machines.

I am not goig to relinquish my claim on Iran that easily. Geo-strategically it's next to my heartland, my backyard. Nor are you going to gain access to the Indian ocean from turn one, Emugod. Keep out of Iran, and we'll be friendly to eachother. Advance, and I'll turn to NATO and USA.
Historically, the USSR occupied northern Iran, including Tehran during WWII. The rest was under British protectorate, the Iranians got British weapons not to join the Axis. Post WWII both withdrew, in favor of Rezza Pahlavi, who became the Shah- Western oil interests persisted longer. Iran was pro- western till Khomeini's revolution, 1979-80.
If you push into Iran, you 'll damage our relations severely. Don't.
Go do what you wish in Afganistan, Pakistani ties were established only after the Soviets withdrew, and SEATO had already dissolved. SEATO's claims are pure fiction, and he cannot pursue them, realistically, in this game. I am the power in the middle east, face it.

Bah! We will show you who has dissolved! If you continue to mock our alliance, you shall face the consequences. Afghanistan has already expressed desires to join the South-East Asian Treaty organization and currently holds a junior membership, to be elevated to a full one shortly. Do not interfere or you will face severe consequences.
The Iranianian population, while Islam, is Sunni, which is a minority of the Muslim population, in fact, a quite distinct one. They are also Iranian, not Arab, and do not belong in ANY Arab state.
Afghanistan and Pakistan share majorities of Shi'a muslim Pashtuns, and thus belong in a single state, or at least the same alignment.
Finally, the Shah has not be deposed and still holds the throne with a pro-Western stance (the Islamic revolution was in 1979, and this here's 1964).
If the Arab League continues to make preposterous claims and insult the peoples of South-East Asia, it may find itself lacking in allies if and when the Soviets eye the rich oil fields of Iraq and Saudi-Arabia.
