My area was incredibly arid ( the Dunes) but a couple of popped monoliths improved things immeasurably. We all seem to be butting up against one another and so far I share each special feature I have found with another faction

Not I -- none of the AI will talk to me . . . one proclaimed a hatred for comstr and another hartred for herc-- when I refused to declare vendetta on you folks , the AI declared vendetta on me in each case and has refused to talk to me since.
