Unfortunately you are not. Although tweaks were made earlier on, by the time C3C was released they had no real incentive to fix even the major bugs let alone improve the AI, and lo and behold they did not.

They could, like indeed most developers, learn a lot from Stardock. The incentive lies in not angering the fanbase. Sure, Civ3 sales would not be affected. But what about Civ 4 or Smac 2?

It amazes me how totally indifferent some developers can be about flaws and bugs in their products (and this is not directed espicially at Firaxis).

Good ideas never die?

It's actually interesting to read ideas posted 1 to 2 years ago as the same topics generally keep coming up.

Every so often I can find where individuals post one opinion in the past and a different opinion now on any given topic. But I don't post that kind of stuff
