yes thats true. And in greenland as well, but they were immigrants from mostly Norway anyway, so it`s still allowed to call it scandinavia. though I think everyone that doesn`t live in scandinavia consider Scandinavia to be what we call Norden.

Hei! Selv om islandsk er veldig likt gammel-norsk (norrønt), er nok dansk lettere å forstå ja! Nei, det var nok ikke samme person. Men filmen "13 warriors" har nok tatt litt fra den historiske araberen. Det var i en tegneseriefortelling basert på hans beskrivelser jeg hørte om araberen. Jeg tror ikke han var med som kriger, men bare observerte og skrev ned det han så.

Reykjavik is also in the original viking list I think. I want to visit that place sometime...
