I've sent him an email when I came back to Apolyton in early November, but I never got answers.
BTW, to make the resumes of our early members more accurate :

Spiffor : Cofounder of the DIA, term 1 Minister of Trade, Term 8 Governor of Old Germany
civman2000 : term 1 Minister of Finance, term 2 Minister of Science (I also think he is cofounder of the DIA, but I'm not sure)
johncnunn : term 8 Domestic Minister (obviously)
Aidun : term 8 Governor of Old Persia

Ninot : Cofounder of the DIA, term 1 Foreign Affairs Minister (you gotta see the campaign between him and Togas )

"Cofounder of the DIA" means we were in the chat which decided about practical issues, such as the name, the early platform, and some political strategy. I don't have the logs, but we were 5 IIRC : Timeline, Tassadar, Ninot, Myself and civman (I think, but I'm not sure). The thread announcing the formation of the DIA was posted once the chat was over.

Is Thud, our President, still a memeber of the DIA? Is Spiffor still our party leader???

This makes me so happy, I wish I had more time to check up on the game, but truthfully, I don't think it would be as fun or enjoyable since the game is all but won.

Actually, I hate to say it but, it seems the DIA has ultimately failed since Apolyton has appearently bloodily massacred all other nations on the Earth. LOL!

Well, I am still happy the DIA has survived.

I was an early member of the DIA; I suspended my membership when I became a judge; the benavior of the party hasn't led me back to it. The stated aims of the original party I agreed with; yet, the party strayed far away from those worthy goals.

I am surprised that people think we can win a Diplomatic Victory after the things that our civ has done.

I haven't been active much since that lfiasco. I do vote and pop in on a regular basis. I don't post much lately.

Another question: will there be a DIA in the new game or shall we found a new party with a new name from the start of the game, or just wait how the game develops and decide to found a new party in a reaction to an event, like the DIA was founded?

I'd be of the opinion that you just wait to see how the game evolves and found such a party if it's needed or you want to based upon the situation.

That said, it's not really my call

I don't plan to be as involved in the next demogame... I'll be around, just not terribly involved (at least initially).

Well the thing is that we perhaps need some imperial expansion to get as mighty as Apolytonia is in this game. The thing is howver to find the balance in things.

I personally like to found an entire new party, with roughly the same ideals, but new. A new start, a new party.
