We must have looked very funny in Sweden running around like that.

We were very pissed off that they havent told us before or that we rather didnt check for it (to see that the last ferry was in 1 hour) and the hotel we stayed in was back at Denmark and we didnt have more money to rent another one in Sweden.

it was kind of eiree (sp?) really.

around 8 o clock at night and nobody in the streets...
but that unfortunately is happening to most countries above a certain latitude in Europe.
might also have been that it wasnt a big city, just a bit off the port

Well it's cheaper in sweden. Probanly because they import meat from the EU, while Norway has a ban on importing meat (I think). Plus, the N-kroner is stronger than the S-kroner.
Something like that anyway.
