The save has been sent to E_T (and the Game #2 save has been sent to Togas).

I have indeed been having some serious connectivity issues, as has most of the U.S. northeast, apparently. Word has it that it has something to do with the huge snowstorm, but most likely indirectly.

Leading theories:

1. Many cable wires run underground and one theory is that pooling water is somehow disrupting cable wires (I doubt this, but I really don't know enough about the subject to know how much my doubt is valid... it just SOUNDS silly).

2. Because all of the little kids and high school kids have been home from school non-stop for over a week, the sheer number of people USING the internet in the U.S. northeast has skyrocketed and has remained consistently high. This theory is actually (I think) somewhat believable, but I don't know if explains the whole problem.

Regardless of WHY, it's definately the case that most of the U.S. northeast has been having huge connectivity problems. Thud, as President of the SPDG, seems to be suffering from the same problem I am, for instance

It's snowing right now AGAIN and we're expected to get another foot by tomorrow evening, so it's not likely to get better in the next few days, either.

Dejon, I beleave that we can get Godking to play your turns for you. Or we can maybe get Mrmitchell to play for you. Either way, youwill need to figure some long range plans that you want implemented by them. Please try to draw those up and send them to them.
