Pixies - Here Comes Your Man
outside there's a box car waiting
outside the family stew
out by the fire breathing
outside we wait 'til face turns blue
i know the nervous walking
i know the dirty beard hangs
out by the box car waiting
take me away to nowhere plains
there is a wait so long
here comes your man
big shake on the box car moving
big shake to the land that's falling down
is a wind makes a palm stop blowing
a big, big stone fall and break my crown
there is a wait so long
you'll never wait so long
here comes your man
there is a wait so long
you'll never wait so long
here comes your man

Cyndi Lauper triple shot!
That's What I think
Sometimes I think
Things are overwhelming
Sometimes I think
I don't know what I'll do
But I forget the world
And everything around me
That's what I think
When I think about you
The streets are filled
With too many babies
Black air in a sky of blue
People pass by
No life in their eyes
The concrete jungle's
Really going crazy
Sometimes I think
Things are overwhelming...
The rent is due
And the pockets are empty
People ask machines
For the truth
No crystal ball
Can help see it all
But where we gonna find
The dreams to feed the babies
Baby life goes on
That's what people say
But I'm nowhere
If you go away
I'd just be looking
For a brighter day
Sometimes I think
Things are overwhelming...
What can I do
Forget about the world
And everything around me
That's what I think
When I think about you
Right Trac, Wrong Train
The train was leaving at 10 after 10
I got to the station just in time to check in
I've been luggin' my bags all around
I'm trying hard to never knock people down
But I see I left a few on the ground
And as the train pulls away I can hear the conductor say
Right track wrong train (echoes)
Right track wrong train (echoes)
I'm not to blame (echo)
Right track wrong train... train
I read my schedule but my train wasn't there
They read my ticket, it said going nowhere
Everybody had the same tatooed face
All the women and men just dressed in lace
Oh I gotta get out of this place
Should got off before the engineer locked the door
Right track wrong train (echoes)
Right track wrong train (echoes)
I'm not to blame (echo)
Right track wrong train, train train train hey !
"Hey that's a neat tatoo you're wearing. By the way where'd you get it ?
Uh huh. Say is this an express train ? Uh huh.
Snack bar ? Uh huh. Uh huh."
Something is happening so familiar to me
Is this the outer limits like on TV ?
Another empty town fading to gray
Another open home sign on the way
Have a cup of coffee, have a nice day
And as the train pushes off,
We're headed for Babylon
Oh no...
Right track wrong train (echoes)
Right track wrong train (echoes)
Right track wrong train...
On the wrong train on the right track
we don't know if she'll ever come back
(Talking) What train is this ?
Something is happening so familiar to me
Is this the outer limits like on tv ?
Have a cup of coffe, have a nice day (talking)
"Yeah, yeah I'll be right there yeah. I'm gonna get the next train
yeah."
She Bop
We-hell-I see them every night in tight blue jeans--
In the pages of a blue boy magazine
Hey I've been thinking of a new sensation
I'm picking up--good vibration--
Oop--she bop--
Do I wanna go out with a lion's roar
Huh, yea, I wanna go south n get me some more
Hey, they say that a stitch in time saves nine
They say I better stop--or I'll go blind
Oop--she bop--she bop
She bop--he bop--a--we bop
I bop--you bop--a--they bop
Be bop--be bop--a--lu--she bop,
I hope He will understand
She bop--he bop--a--we bop
I bop--you bop--a--they bop
Be bop--be bop--a--lu--she bop,
Oo--oo--she--do--she bop--she bop
(whistle along here)...
Hey, hey--they say I better get a chaperone
Because I can't stop messin' with the danger zone
No, I won't worry, and I won't fret--
Ain't no law against it yet--
Oop--she bop--she bop--
She bop--he bop--we bop...

Boys don't Cry by The CUre
Click on this text
I would say I'm sorry
If I thought that it would change your mind
But I know that this time
I've said too much
Been too unkind
I try to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies
I try to laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes
Cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry
I would break down at your feet
And beg forgiveness
Plead with you
But I know that
It's too late
And now there's nothing I can do
So I try to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies
I try to laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes
Cause boys don't cry
Boys don`t cry
I would tell you
That I loved you
If I thought that you would stay
But I know that it's no use
That you've already
Gone away
Misjudged your limits
Pushed you too far
Took you for granted
I thought that you needed me more
Now I would do most anything
To get you back by my side
But I just
Keep on laughing
Hiding the tears in my eyes
Cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry

10th Avenue Freeze-Out
Tear drops on the city, Bad Scooter searching for his groove
Seem like the whole world walking pretty and you can't find the room to move
Well, everybody better move over, that's all
'Cause I'm running on the bad side and I got my back to the wall
Tenth Avenue freeze-out
Tenth Avenue freeze-out
Well, I was stranded in the jungle trying to take in all the heat they was giving
The night is dark but the sidewalk's bright and lined with the light of the living
From a tenement window a transistor blasts
Turn around the corner, things got real quiet real fast
I walked into a Tenth Avenue freeze-out
Tenth Avenue freeze-out
And I'm all alone, I'm all alone
(And kid, you better get the picture)
And I'm on my own, I'm on my own
And I can't go home
When the change was made uptown and the Big Man joined the band
From the coastline to the city, all the little pretties raise their hands
I'm gonna sit back right easy and laugh
When Scooter and the Big Man bust this city in half
With the Tenth Avenue freeze-out
Tenth Avenue freeze-out
Tenth Avenue freeze-out
Tenth Avenue freeze
I'm talking 'bout a Tenth
Oh, nothing but a Tenth
I'm talking 'bout a Tenth
I'm talking bout a Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth
Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, Tenth, I'm talking 'bout a
Tenth Avenue freeze-out

Thunder Road
The screen door slams, Mary's dress waves
Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays
Roy Orbison singing for the lonely
Hey, that's me and I want you only
Don't turn me home again, I just can't face myself alone again
Don't run back inside, darling, you know just what I'm here for
So you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore
Show a little faith, there's magic in the night
You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright
Oh, and that's alright with me
You can hide 'neath your covers and study your pain
Make crosses from your lovers, throw roses in the rain
Waste your summer praying in vain
For a savior to rise from these streets
Well now, I ain't no hero, that's understood
All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood
With a chance to make it good somehow
Hey, what else can we do now?
Except roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair
Well, the night's busting open, these two lanes will take us anywhere
We got one last chance to make it real
To trade in these wings on some wheels
Climb in back, heaven's waiting on down the tracks
Oh oh, come take my hand
We're riding out tonight to case the promised land
Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road
Oh, Thunder Road, oh, Thunder Road
Lying out there like a killer in the sun
Hey, I know it's late, we can make it if we run
Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road
Sit tight, take hold, Thunder Road
Well, I got this guitar and I learned how to make it talk
And my car's out back if you're ready to take that long walk
From your front porch to my front seat
The door's open but the ride ain't free
And I know you're lonely for words that I ain't spoken
But tonight we'll be free, all the promises'll be broken
There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away
They haunt this dusty beach road in the skeleton frames of burned-out Chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street
Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet
And in the lonely cool before dawn
You hear their engines rolling on
But when you get to the porch, they're gone on the wind
So Mary, climb in
It's a town full of losers, I'm pulling out of here to win

RUSH
Manhattan Project
Imagine a time when it all began
In the dying days of a war
A weapon that would settle the score
Whoever found it first would be sure to do their worst.
They always had before...
Imagine a man where it all began
A scientist pacing the floor
In each nation, always eager to explore
To build the best big stick
To turn the winning trick.
But this was something more...
Chorus
The big bang took and shook the world
Shot down the rising sun
The end was begun and it hit everyone
When the chain reaction was done
The big shots tried to hold it back
Fools tried to wish it away
The hopeful depend on a world without end
Whatever the hopeless may say
Imagine a place where it all began
Gathered from across the land
To work in the secrecy of the desert sand
All of the brightest boys
To play with the biggest toys
More than they bargained for...
Chorus
Imagine a man when it all began
The pilot of "Enola Gay"
Flying out of the shockwave on that August day
All the powers that be, and the course of history,
Would be changed forevermore...

Sin by Nine Inch Nails
You give me the reason
You give me control
I gave you my Purity
My Purity you stole
Did you think I wouldn't recognize this compromise
Am I just too stupid to realize
Stale incense old sweat and lies lies lies
It comes down to this
Your kiss
Your fist
And your strain
It get's under my skin
Within
Take in the extent of my sin
You give me the anger
You give me the nerve
Carry out my sentence
Well I get what I deserve
I'm just an effigy to be disgraced
To be defaced
Your need for me has been replaced
And if I can't have everything well then just give me a taste
It comes down to this
Your kiss
Your fist
And your strain
It get's under my skin
Within
Take in the extent of my sin
You give me the reason
You give me control
I gave you my Purity
My Purity you stole
Did you think I wouldn't recognize this compromise
Am I just too stupid to realize
Stale incense old sweat and lies lies lies
It comes down to this
Your kiss
Your fist
And your strain
It get's under my skin
Within
Take in with my sin it comes down to this
Your kiss
Your fist
And your strain
It get's under my skin
Within
Take in the extent of my sin

Garden Party
I went to a garden party to reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories and play our songs again
When I got to the garden party, they all knew my name
No one recognized me, I didn't look the same
CHORUS
But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself
People came from miles around, everyone was there
Yoko brought her walrus, there was magic in the air
'n' over in the corner, much to my surprise
Mr. Hughes hid in Dylan's shoes wearing his disguise
CHORUS
lott-in-dah-dah-dah, lot-in-dah-dah-dah
Played them all the old songs, thought that's why they came
No one heard the music, we didn't look the same
I said hello to "Mary Lou", she belongs to me
When I sang a song about a honky-tonk, it was time to leave
CHORUS
---------------------------------------------------------------
Believe What You Say
I believe what you say when you say you're goin' steady with nobody else but me
I believe what you say when you say you don't kiss nobody else but me
I believe (I believe), do believe (do believe), I believe (I believe)
Yeah, I believe, pretty baby, believe you're goin' steady with nobody else but me
Well, there's-a one thing, baby, that I wantcha to know
When you're rockin' with me don't rock too slow
a-Move on in, get toe-to-toe
We're gonna rock till we can't rock no more
I believe (I believe), do believe (do believe), I believe (I believe)
Yeah, I believe, pretty baby, believe you're goin' steady with nobody else but me
SPOKEN: Well, let's dig it now.
Well, I believe what you say when you say you don't miss nobody else but me
I believe what you say when you say you don't kiss nobody else but me
I believe (I believe), do believe (do believe), I believe (I believe)
Yeah, I believe, pretty baby, believe you're goin' steady with nobody else but me
Well, when you kiss me, baby, then you roll your eyes
I get a funny feelin' that I'm hypnotized
Chills run all up and down my spine
I'm tellin' everybody that you're mine, all mine
I believe (I believe), do believe (do believe), yeah believe (yeah believe)
Oh, believe, pretty baby, believe you're goin' steady with nobody else but me
SPOKEN: Oh, yeah!!
Well, I believe, do believe, yeah believe
Well, believe, pretty baby, believe you're goin' steady with nobody else but me

Poor Little Fool
I used to play around with hearts that hastened at my call,
But when I met that little girl I knew that I would fall.
(chorus)
Poor little fool, oh yeah, I was a fool, uh huh..
She played around and teased me with her carefree devil eyes,
She'd hold me close and kiss me but her heart was full of lies.
(chorus)
She told me how she cared for me and that we'd never part,
And so for the very first time I gave away my heart.
(chorus)
The next day she was gone and I knew she'd lied to me,
She left me with a broken heart and won her victory.
(chorus)
I'd played this game with other hearts but I never thought I'd see,
The day that someone else would play love's foolish game with me.
(chorus)

Brought to mind by the Depressing Music thread...
The Letter - Melanie Harrold
My Dearest Old Dad
Feeling utterly wretched
loafing around the garden - I'm going back to it
Back to the excitement - may go tomorrow
Back to the monotony and glory of war
My Dearest Old Dad
Two of our fellows came in today
Both had legs and eyes done in
How did they come down at all?
Old Gillespie's dead - went west on a Camel
Fought like the devil with fourteen - now he's gone home
The honour of it wrankles in my mind like some loathsome disease
and I can't seem to shake it off me
It's in the hospitals the glory fails - tell me where's the glory?
Four souls gone and I'm sending more before me
Isn't it an honour as they laugh - good God, laugh as they murder
and shout as they fight - I always shout as I fight
To deaden my better centres. Oh.....
My Dearest Old Dad
Coming home in September - or first week in October
I always try and think of September
Depends how many get done in - or how many go home
We're all going home - one home or the other
How I shall enjoy a spin along the Weys Road on a little motorbike with trees and peace
How's the shop and the biz? - No one knows what war is like
Even I forget when I come home - except at odd times, then I shudder
And I always can write like this, it takes my mind away - tell Mother
And I'm the only flying officer left who's 23 years old
I must try and hang on for the next four weeks - go carefully what?
It's all incendiary ammunition now - thank God Phil's too young for flying
and I'm frightened of my own tank with 40 gallons of petrol
They can't do me in...... eight to one they didn't get me
They can't do me in...... like Old Nick behind the machine gun
They can't do me in...... God this war is bloody
and I'll sit at home and talk to you - take Major out for walks
and it's all incendiary ammunition now - Old Gillespie's dead
I can't stand it.

Song for Ireland
Walking all the day, near tall towers
where falcons build their nests
Siver winged they fly,
they know the call of freedom in their breasts
Saw Black Head against the sky
with twisted rocks that run down to the sea
Living on your western shore,
saw summer sunsets, asked for more
I stood by your Atlantic sea
and sang a song for Ireland
Talking all the day with true friends
who try to make you stay
Telling jokes and news,
singing songs to pass the night away
Watched the Galway salmon run
like silver dancing darting in the sun
Living on your western shore
saw summer sunsets, asked for more
I stood by your Atlantic sea
and sang a song for Ireland
Drinking all the day in old pubs
where fiddlers love to play
Someone touched the bow,
he played a reel
it seemed so fine and gay
Stood on Dingle beach
and cast in wild foam we found Atlantic bass
Living on your western shore,
saw summer sunsets asked for more
I stood by your Atlantic sea
and sang a song for Ireland
Dreaming in the night I saw a land
where no man had to fight
Waking in your dawn
I saw you crying in the morning light
Lying where the falcons fly,
they twist and turn all in you e'er blue sky
Living on your western shore,
saw summer sunsets asked for more
I stood by your Atlantic sea
and sang a song for Ireland
Live and Learn
Can't you feel the change in a different way
When you listen?
Like standing in the cold on a rainy day
It didn't really matter
Had no choice you had it your own way
You live and learn
It was just a shame on another day
You know we kept on missing
So try and try again
No it's not in vain
You live and you learn
Heard that voice
Now do it your own way
You live and learn
It's what you have to say you just say anyway
Only space that matters
Taking in the rays
Holding out the pain
So you live and you learn
Take that choice
To have it your own way
So you live and learn
Stepping Stone
Moving drift wood stopped and stared
It proved too much for me
I'm looking at an empty shell
The young girl waiting
She's waiting there
With a suit case in her hand
She won't look back on the land
But with a change of heart
For you it might come true
It's like a stepping stone
You know it's up to you
Just like a stepping stone
You know it might come true.
She wants her freedom
To see with her own eyes
All the cities of the world
And the faces strange to hers
Strange in her eyes.
But with a change of heart
For you it might come true
It's like a stepping stone
You know it's up to you.
With a change of heart
You have to see it through
It's like a steppng stone
You know it's up to you
It's like a stepping stone
You know it might come true.

At Last by Ella Fitzgerald
At last
my love has come along
my lonely days are over
and life is like a song
At last
the skies above are blue
my heart was wrapped up in clover
the night I looked at you
I found a dream
that I could speak to
a dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
a thrill that I have never known well
You smile
you smile
oh and then the spell was cast
and here we are in heaven
for you are mine at last

FRIDAY ON MY MIND
The Easybeats
Monday morning feels so bad,
Ev'rybody seems to nag me
Coming tuesday I feel better,
Even my old man looks good,
Wednesday just don't go,
Thursday goes too slow,
I've got Friday on my mind
Chorus
Gonna have fun in the city,
Be with my girl she's so pretty,
She looks fine tonight,
She is out of sight to me,
Tonight....I spend my bread,
Tonight...I lose my head,
Tonight...I got to get tonight
Monday I have Friday on my mind.
Do the five day drag once more,
Know of nothing else that bugs me
More than working for the rich man,
Hey I'll change that scene one day,
Today I might be mad,
Tomorrow I'll be glad,
I've got Friday on my mind,
(Repeat Chorus)

M People - Angel Street
If you think the world owes you a ride
You'll never find the reason why
Boy you know it's down to you
Looking down, you'll only see your own two feet
Mama used to say to me
Take a walk down Angel Street
So sweet thing
Have I got news for you
Come and taste my soul food
So what have you got to lose?
Angel Street
Stand on your own two feet
'Cos baby can't you see?
If we're to stay alive
Only the strong survive
Don't you know if you can't respect yourself
You'll be left on the shelf
No one's gonna carry you
Walkin' tall, dreamin' of love and pride
Reachin' up to the sky
Arms and eyes are open wide
So come on, lets climb the stairs out of this
Make a wish and steal a kiss
Boy what have you got to lose?
Angel Street
Stand on your own two feet
'Cos baby can't you see?
If were to stay alive
Only the strong survive
Angel Street,
Stand on your own two feet,
'Cos baby can't you see?
If were to stay alive
Only the strong survive.
(Take a walk, Take a walk, on Angel Street)
(Take a walk, Take a walk, on Angel Street)
(Take a walk, Take a walk, on Angel Street)
Only the strong survive
Way way down on
Angel Street
Stand on your own two feet
'Cos baby can't you see?
If were to stay alive
Only the strong survive.
Angel Street,
Stand on your own two feet,
'Cos baby can't you see?
If we're to stay alive
Only the strong survive
Angel Street

Watcher of the Skies, watcher of all
His is a world alone, this world is his own
He whom life can no longer surprise
raising his eyes beholds a planet unknown
Creatures shaped this planet's soil
now their reign has come to an end
Has life again destroyed life or do they play elsewhere,
do they know more than their childhood games?
Maybe the lizard shedded its tail,
Is this the end of man's long union with earth?
Judge not this race by its remains---
do you judge God by His creatures when they are dead?
For now the lizard has shedded its tail,
This is the end of man's long union with earth.
From man alone to man as one,
think not now your journey done
For though your ship be sturdy, no mercy has the sea,
Will you survive on the ocean of being?
Come ancient children, hear what I say--
this is my parting counsel for you on your way.
Sadly now your thoughts turn to the skies...
where they have gone, you know you never can go.
Watcher of the Skies, watcher of all
This is your fate alone, this fate is your own.

That's When The Music Takes Me
Neil Sedaka
That's when the music takes me
Takes to a brighter day
That's when the music takes me
Helpin' me to find my way
When the day is so long that I can't hold on
When I'm down and I think my hope is gone
Oooh, Yeah,
That's when the music takes me
Closer to a brighter daaaay
I can feel my soul explodin'
There's a good feelin'
Helpin' me to find my waaay
My, my, my way
When the bluebird sings her sad, sad song
And the wind brings a cold to tag along
Oh, yeah,
I can feel the spirit move me
I can almost touch the sky
Reachin' for a new tomorrow
I know it's hard
But music makes me waaaaanna try
Wanna try
And then
That's when the music takes me
Takes to a brighter day
Yeah, yeah
That's when the music takes me
Helpin' me to find my way
(That's when the music takes me)
(That's when the music takes me)
Oh, yeah
But when the music takes me
Closer to a brighter day
I can feel my soul explodin'
There's a good feelin'
Helpin' me to fiiiiiiind my waaay
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
And then I'm sayin'
That's when the music takes me
Takes to a brighter day
Yeah, yeah, yeah
That's when the music takes me
Helpin' me to find my way
(Clap)
Happy, happy, happy day
Happy, happy, happy day
Happy, happy, happy day
(That's when the music takes me)
(That's when the music takes me)
(That's when the music takes me)
(And that's when the music takes me)
Happy, happy when the music takes
Whooooooo

THIS OLD HEART OF MINE
Rod Stewart (Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier, Eddie Holland, Sylvia Moy, 1966)
This old heart of mine been broke a thousand times.
Each time you break away, feel you're gone to stay.
Lonely nights that come, memories that go,
bringing you back again, hurting me more and more.
Maybe it's my mistake to show this love I feel inside,
'cause each day that passes by
you got me never knowing if I'm coming or going
but I love you, yes I do.
I love you; this old heart weeps for you.
I try hard to hide my hurt inside.
This old heart of mine always keeps me crying.
The way you treat me leaves me incomplete.
You're here for the day, gone for the week.
But if I want you a hundred times,
a hundred times I have you back.
I'm yours whenever you want me;
I wanna shout about it, tell the world about it
'cause I love you; this old heart weeps for you.
I love you, yes, I do.
Maybe it's my mistake to show this love I feel inside,
'cause each day that passes by
you got me never knowing if I'm coming or going
but I love you, yes I do.
This old heart weeps for you.
I love you; this old heart weeps for you.
I love you; yes I do.
I love you; this old heart weeps for you.

Three Little Pigs
Green Jelly
Three Little Pigs
(Print the Lyrics)
(Spoken)
Why don't you, sit right back,
and I, I may tell you, a tale.
A tale of three, little pigs,
and a BIG, BAD, WOLFFF.
Well the first little piggy, well he was kinda hip.
He spent most of his days, just a dreamin of the city.
And then one day, he bought a guitar.
He moved to Hollywood, to become a star.
But, living on the farm, he knew nothing of the city.
Built his house out of straw, what a pity.
And then one day, jammin on some chords,
along came the wolf, knocking on his door.
(Chorus)
Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in.
NOT BY THE HAIR OF MY CHINNY, CHIN, CHIN!!
Little Pig, Little Pig, let me in.
NOT BY THE HAIR OF MY CHINNY, CHIN, CHIN!!
Well I'm huffin, I'm puffin, I'll blow your house in.
Huffin, puffin, blow your house in.
Huffin, puffin, blow your house in.
Huffin and a puffin and I'll blow your house in!!!
Well the second little piggy, well he was kinda stoked.
He spent most of his time just a ganga smokin.
Huffin and a puffin down on Venice Beach.
Getting paid money for religious speech.
He built his shelter from what he garbage picked.
Mostly made up of old cans and sticks.
Then one day he was cranking out Bob Marley,
and along came the Wolf on his big bad Harley.
(Chorus)
Well the third little piggy, the grade A student.
His daddy was a rock star, named Pig Nugent.
Earned his Masters Degree, from Harvard College.
Built his house from his architect knowledge.
A tri-level mansion, Hollywood Hills.
Daddy's rock stardom, paid for the bills.
And then one day came the old house smasher
the BIG BAD WOLF THE LITTLE PIGGY SLASHER.
(Chorus)
Well the big bad Wolf,
well he huffed, and he puffed, all that he could.
And low and behold the little piggy's house stood.
"IT'S MADE OUT OF CONCRETE!" the little piggy shouted.
The wolf just frowned, as he pouted.
So they called nine-eleven, like any piggy would.
The sent out RAMBO, just as fast, as they could.
(Rambo)
"YO, WOLF-FACE, I'M YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE, YOUR ASS IS MINE!!!"
Well the wolf fell dead as you can plainly see.
So thats to end the story, for you and me.
If you still give a listen, you just may, here a big wolf or little piggy say.
(Chorus)
"And the moral of the story is,
' A band with no talent can easily amuse idiots,
with a stupid, puppet show."

El Diablo
Did you ever hear the story
That happened not long ago
'bout the man with a tan:
El diablo de Mexico?
And this man played his hand
And he lived by the luck of the draw;
Now and then and again,
Found him steppin' outside of the law
Hey, hey!
And his fortune he had made
let him live high on the hog
Til the day of the raid
When they hunted him like a dog.
He was out on the run,
Knowing he could get by,
'Cause the men killed in sin
were not there to testify.
Hey, hey!
He was caught, he was bound
In La Casa de Calaboose.
He was tried; he was found
And readied for the noose.
But the break he would make,
It didn't turn out so well.
And the hombre called "Diablo"
Bid his last farewell.

Can't Stop Rockin'
I heard about the rock for sometime, I know.
It's easy to do when you feel the roll.
Makes you want to get up, makes you wanna move your feet.
No matter how it's done you know it can't be beat.
'Cause I can't stop rockin',
no, I can't stop rockin'.
Well, I can't stop rockin',
baby, till I lose my mind.
Somebody said it's wrong but I know it's all right,
then it really hits you like a shot in the night.
I'm never gonna stop as long as I can stay.
Listen to me now, can't you hear me say,
I can't stop rockin',
no, I can't stop rockin'.
Well, I can't stop rockin',
baby, till I lose my mind.
I like to work it down low, I like to work it to the top.
And when it starts rockin' I ain't never gonna stop.
Get yourself loose, get yourself high.
I love to feel the motion and I'm tellin' you why.
'Cause I can't stop rockin',
no, I can't stop rockin'.
No, I can't stop rockin
no matter what they do do do do do or say.
No matter what you do do do do do or say, no no.

Just because they made me happy today when I was down...
Cecilia
This is a song about a well-known girl
Who was she?
We will never know the answer to that question
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - you're gonna live forever
According to a well-known song
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - did you come home and to whom?
Simon and Garfunkel had a little problem
It was something about their hearts, you used to break
Them, and make them go down on their knees
On and on again
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - you're gonna live forever
According to a well-known song
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - did you come home and to whom?
Romeo and Juliet had another story, but they
Were a single pair - not free like you
Still they got a tragical end
So many years ago, life in itself can't hurt
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - did you come home and to whom?
Passion changes but they will still remember you
I say they loved you and they would do the same for you today
We'll never know the answer to that question
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - you're gonna live forever
According to a well known song
Cecilia - walk in the light
Cecilia - did you come home and to whom?
I've been trying to overcome the mental blocks I've got
If they loved you, why didn't you respond to all their please?
I wonder
I wonder
Captain Nemo
Captain Nemo is too good for you and me
Take a voyage to the bottom of the sea
He's a riddle you will see in the middle of the sea
If you ask him things about life, then he will say:
Oh no, I'm far too continental for mankind
I don't interfere in your life
See me as a searcher with the answers
To your world from under the sea
Captain Nemo knows the world be we don't know
What control of light and darkness means
He'll show
If we come in peace at heart
He may help us to restart what went wrong
So long ago from down below
Oh no, I'm far too continental for mankind
I don't interfere in your life
See me as a searcher with the answers
To your world from under the sea
See him as a searcher with the answers to mankind
He's far too continental
Though he's wiser than all man
He is curious about the plan
Violated by the man, the master plan
Oh no, he's far too continental for mankind
He doesn't interfere in your life
See him as a searcher with the answers
To your world from under the sea
Oh no, he's far too continental for mankind
Under the sea
