Reagan had alzheimers during his presidency... and you think that I like Clinton for some reason? The man is a pig. But I'd still vote for him instead of any Bush, Dole, or invalid Reagan.

I've seen enough speeches to know that without teleprompters, he's 2 seconds away from losing attention and yelling, "Nancy! Bring me my warm milk!".

Or perhaps you aren't familiar about the disease or the age of which it affects its victims? It's highly likely Reagan was already suffering from mild effects in 1980... by the time he got to Berlin, I'm surprised he didn't say, "Mr. Krusch-- uhmm Dr. holonunnoov, tear down this.. errgghh sandcastle!"

a) Because every other politician speaks wonderfully away from teleprompters.

b) Obviously you've never seen Reagan in a debate, where he ran circles around his opponents.
