Got spare money?

It seems we have another problem; my copy of PtW isn't working. I get the spinning CD cursor... then nothing happens. This has actually been going on since I got PtW, but usally after two or three tries it would start up. I thought maybe it was CD scratching, but the fact that I have not removed the CD since playing my last turn seems to suggest its not. Has anyone else encountered these kind of problems or have any suggestions?

Oh, I do have a suggestion... I will send you a... ahem... "fix" for this problem later today.

Well, I'm back... rain cancelled the tournament for the day.

Are we upgrading to 1.21? I can go either way, since this is the only PBEM game I'm playing and I'm not going to join any more soon. It does have some nice fixes, but it depends on what version everyone hos...

I would wait on the patch as well; until they have it so everyone can use it, it doesn't do us much good. Oh, and I'll have the savegame off to Sharpe in the morning: it's 3:30 am, and I just got back from a They Might Be Giants concert, so I'm going to bed!

It should be pretty easy to figure out, if you look at the score formula.
