"Have the French asked the UN permission to send their soldiers there?"

Weren't they invited in? In any case they now have a UN resolution backing them (and the other West African peacekeepers there).

Obviously in Greece the government can intervene in the judicial procees to get the result it wants.

Obviously this is the case in the UK rather...

The law in the UK applies to everyone, people who are unwell can have their lawyers apply to have them judged unfit to stand trial, effectivley thats what happened here.

I would have liked to see the bastard stand trial, however there is a process to go through and thats what happened.

Are you against judicial process.

I'm against political involvement in judicial process in order to free a criminal you supported which is what happened here. and with excuses one can only laugh at - or cry
maybe it'd have helped if you actually had a constitution

What!!

have you been on the uzo again

How is my statement exposed. WE would have extradited Pinochet to Spain if he was considered fit enough to stand trial. We went through a lenghthy process to decied he didn't have diplomatic immunity.

Then it was decided (again after alot of money and time) that he wasn't well enough.

As for supporting dictatorships, some people we porobaly shouldn't have hepled, but we stopped your sorry asses from saluting the hammer and sickle

actually it's you that you're probably dosed in err whatever it is you drink up there.

you freed him claiming he was sick for trial. that's political manipulation and a darn laughable one at that.

and for good reason too considering the blood you had on your hands when supporting the chilean dictatorship.

as said your morally bankruot.

about the second point, you'd wish. you packed and left in a hurry when the geurillas hammerpounded you, or do you forget?

supporting the greek junta though you did.

BTW you cant call anyone sorry ass since your a gay brit. its your level of debate im concerned with though, might want to rethink it

where did you point "my wrong"

except clenching with nails and teeth to your "mantra" : the UK judicial system was independent from political pressure?" when the opposite is evident?

Example- France would not let the British to enter Paris with the US and French in 1944. because of the resentment it might cause in showing that the UK helped liberate France
