My housemate Bing always thought it was a shame that they never finished with the Jackhammer model of shotguns - semiautomatic, beltfed, and capable of clearing any given room in a very short amount of time.

Then again Bing thought the ideal use for a shotgun was to hunt Yoshi, so maybe he's not the best balanced individual to talk.

The clip slots along the top, it is in place in the P90 in the picture. The feed mechanism involves some sort of turntable to turn the rounds 90 degrees as they are loaded.

FN also make a semi-auto pistol to fire the same round.

The 5.7 x 28 is supposed to have a lot more penetrative power against body armour than the 9mm Parabellum used in most SMG's.

Actually that picture is an M16A2 not an A1. This proticular one is an urban assult weapon which means it has a shorter barrel and a smaller stock to make it easier to use during urban warfare.

You can tell it is an A2 instead of an A1 because the A1's all have a triangular barrel grip while the A2's have a round barrel grip.

The SG551 is not in Counter-Strike, neither is the M16. The M4a1 is in Counter-Strike.

2600 ft-lbs? I think that's nearly 7.62x37 AK47/SKS muzzle energy…

SG-1 is kinda silly, 'cause you couldn't hear the "tink tink tink" of slugs punching thru armor unless the P90 were silenced. The 5.7x28 ammo is not subsonic, would sück if it were slowed that much. Probably couldn't penetrate armor, and then the "tink tink tink" would be bad news.

Jackhammer sounds cool, but they've got something just as good. It has a Tommy Gun style drum with 12 rounds. That's more than enough to sweep up.

only one small problem with that new cal , ..... logistics , ..... you cant pick up some ammo from an enemy who is down and use the clip on your own weapon if you are running out , .......

nothing above +P+ 5.56 ammo made in Israel by IMI , .....

and an M4 to fire them , .....
