JohnT, I have always been a *very* spiritual guy, perhaps even the most spiritual here at Apolyton, and that includes a strong belief in Jesus, you should have paid closer attention to my posts.
In terms of GWB, I don't mean that he is the opposite of Jesus, however Nostradamus had three bad guys who did lots of bad stuff, that he called the three antichrists. That is what I'm referring to.

Gangerolf- Yeah I've known about that, the only problem is that Sadaam is capable of carrying out the widespread destruction and vengence that America is. Personally, my theory is that Mabus is actually an amalgamation of both Bush and Sadaam.

UR- Yeah, I've read that before. I'm somewhat torn on whether he was referring to the literal lower Danube or Hitler. Although he did have some other passages where he referred to something like "an evil man" and "pride of the aryans" or something along those lines.

Nostradamus refers to "Hister" several times, and in his other references it is clearly the river. Why would this quatrain be different for some inexplicable reason?

Theoretically, it could be since Hitler has such a similar name, it threw him off a bit.
Honestly, whether this passage refers to Hitler or not, there are many others that seem to do so in a more indisputable manner. I could try to drag them up if any were interested.

What Boris said. Ole Mike mentioned Hister a few times in his Quatrains for different things, which makes it being Hitler unlikely. I seriously recommend the book to you. Being spiritual is one thing, it doesn't mean you need to be taken in by chalatans.

You could suppose that by coming to a conclusion as to the meaning of the passage and then trying to twist the passage to mean that.

Is there any other reason to think the quatrain refers to Hitler, excluding the "Hister" reference?
