I've found that I'm incapable of forming a solid mental picture of somebody if they don't have an avatar or if they've got a standard avatar. The exception is EVC, who I really do picture as just some creepy looking guy in a black trenchcoat, and Skanky, who I really do picture as a samurai. Otherwise I just picture this big hunk of fuzz, or else a big hunk of fuzz covered in neon lights that keep flashing "Jon Miller."
