sonofa... I'm sure Berzerker (and Calc and jdd) feels the same way, but seeing 20+ picks between ours leads to five or six instances of "damn, there goes my next pick"...
Having two in close proximity is nice, however.

But it was my fault for not looking at the stats being used, I just assumed we'd have a large variety of stats. How else would we have a "realistic" league if not for a large number of categories? Btw, I don't think anyone objected to expanding the categories, so yours would have been a voice in the wilderness.
It's much more fun with more categories as Ming pointed out.

ah, but i've been picking my players based on our league setting. You see, it will make a big difference if I picked somebody like Ichiro wh ohas good batting avg, quite alot of bases and steals, but when HR all of sudden comes into play, his value is severely dwarfed compared to other HR popping sluggers.
In theory you can have a draft and manipulate the stats in away thats completely advantageous to one player. Its been done before within my friends league (and as a cruel joke on my poor friend lol), while in real life scenario it may not be as a big deal, it does change things.
Anyways, I dont intend to object to the change, although if stats should have been changed, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE PRIOR to draft results.

Okay, Guynemer is up. Hey Imran, ignore my PM.
Calc, I agree, but I'm sure you''ll see that all of us are trying to pick for balance and that includes picking guys who don't hit many homers but have good averages and steals to make up for slow sluggers.
edit: Wait a minute, what are you complaining about? I just looked at the sluggers you have in your line up, Rodriguez, Kent, Sheffield, and Konerko? Where's your Ichiro like hitter? All I see are a bunch of sluggers.

Here's a question:
Say I have a guy listed as RP, but he makes a start. (This certainly isn't out of the question with Dotel, for instance.) Will those stats still count, even though he isn't a reliever?
