i recorded one vid. Im gonna try to compress the size of the vids cause they are too big. approximately 30 megs per match is ridiculous.

I've made my decision guys...


Im picking up another system! This game is just too good to not try the other 2 characters. I plan on buying the cube if I can find a used one tomorrow on EB, but if not I will consider buying my friend's xbox for $200 (comes with halo). Only thing I dont like about his deal is that I'll have to mod the Xbox as well to play imports. And Modding xbox is a nono. I do plan to play some xbox live eventually.

If I can only find a GC and hit Chinatown and pick up a free loader and a GC copy of SC2 then Link will be in one of my arsenal of characters... (keeps fingers crossed)

Im estimating that cost for this just one game will add up to ~$1000 for me.. Im gonna have to get all three consoles eventually....

I'm wondering about Link...I've seen screenshots of him firing his bow from some distance, so I think it's a move rather than just part of a throw. I'm thinking that this might throw things off a bit...but, most likely I'm wrong.

That's not the worst. My friends and I have been wanting to visit Japan at sometime in our lifetime. I have convinced them to go with me during the next SOul Calibur National tournament in Japan. That is gonna be awesome

its amove, but it has to be done off a stance. Once yo go into a stance there is a bit of lag where Link will gointo an animation where he draws his bows. and there is a significant recovery time inbetween each shots (he draws new arrows). It is extremly easy to sidestep and the shots dont auto track, so its very balanced.

Throwing bomb is also can be done from a stance. And from what i hear, you can guard impact it back to Link... Im hoping that is true cause hat would make an interesting hot potato game.

Well, it goes to show what being really tired and at the arcade will do to you.

First off, I was tired as hell, and I was in there for only about 20 minutes. I was in a hurry, but I had to get my SC fix...Anyways, there was this guy playing, and doing well -- he had 7 Vs. wins, and was trying to rank. Nevertheless, I beat him(), and went on to play my conquest character. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he had been promoted since I last played to a 'Platinum Soldier of the Cerebrus'. Still not the best, but cooler than what I was.

I go through the deal, and I played pretty well. I was just about to leave, when some guy asks if he could play me. I told him I didn't have any coins left, but he says he'll cover it because he works there.

Now, for me that's a bit of an honor in itself. But the thing is, him being an employee means he has oodles of time to practice, compared to my ~15 minutes a month. So, we got to playing, and he thumped me pretty good using Ivy. Anyway though, it was fun.

And that's how CG spent his weekend.

I feel like a "we todd"... I finally figured out how to compress videos. The first 7 vids should be up on MacT's HD. You guys should see it when Macky hosts it in his website.

It's 12mb or less for each vid! Kick ass!

My friends are still playing like a retard. Especially the Astaroth one. I even promised that they would win if they would play well instead of panicking and button jamming, but that still didnt stop them from sucking.

Anyways, Yoshimitsu one is good (as always) And that wasnt even my serious Yoshimitsu! I was playing around w/ Tekken steal move 70% of the time! Room went crazy when Lei's Drunken stance came out, but my opponent hit me in the middle of it. Needless to say the guy was gang raped by a very angry mob.

Nightmare and Voldo ones are alright too, but its not mostly the good voldo/Nightmare that wins the battle but rather the bad opponent's skill that allowed them to win. Next time, I'll tape a match with a more worthy opponent.

Get a divx codec. Here I'll provide one for ya. (can u access my upload files in poly? I dunno how this works)

Angelpotion solves 99% of all divx codecing problems.

I know you like having the really small files, but it looks so odd without the sound.

Hmm...I currently don't even have the remotest possibility of getting a video, so I'll try to describe it.

I generally start off either backing away or dashing in and doing a throw, to catch them off guard. It works surprisingly well...anyways, then I just move on to general strategy. I don't so much have a fight plan, i.e. specific order of attacks, but here's a few strategies I like:

While someone's just standing, do the gate pryer(66a+b,k). Most likely they'll get caught by the second part, when you hit k.

I favor the caliostro rush attacks and throws if I move apart from someone, as they go under most A attacks.

In the 8wayrun, I like the 66a+k,k. Same as above, if first part misses then the second usually hits.

If someone's charging, the 1k, 6a+b works well. From that you can get into the mantis crawl(I forget exactly how -- holding 2, I believe...). And of course from the mantis crawl -- LANDFISH! WOO!


There's so much more...but I'm too tired to go on. Oh, and I brush and floss regularly.
