He intentado actualizar con el fichero CivIIMGE_UCCUpdate3.exe, que es el que he encontrado, pero me dice que el 'wizard' no encuentra instalado el Civ2, por lo que no puede actualizarlo. Sigue pidiéndome el CD a pesar de aplicar el patch, lo cual es lógico pues no debe funcionar si no se actualiza antes. ¿Alguna idea?.

Es que son distintas versiones. No creo que esos parches funcionen, habrá que esperar a que alguien saque un parche específico.

Follow these steps...

a) install Civ2 Update to MGE first.
b) then install CivIIMGE_UCCUpdate3.exe. This will update this to the upeer version.
c) Over this, you must install the Civ2CRACK in order to avoid the CD popup everytime.
d) Enjoy.

PS you must have all of the TXT files in english, otherwise that stuff will never work... Lemme see...

La versión que tengo, la de El Mundo, ya es MGE (creo).

I see... Maybe you should have installed the Cedric Greene patch instead of Civ2 Update on step a).
