OK, I'm heading out of town. Will check for the turn if possible, but it will be difficult because I might not be near a phone line. I hope you guys can understand some delays for the weekend.

I don't know where he is. I was hoping you would post when you returned Clegg. I'm glad you did.
I will be home tonight (19:00 Apolyton time), if he has not taken his turn by then he will be skipped.

Sounds good, hopefully MB will return before then so we don't need to skip any turns.
I actually got back earlier than I anticipated this weekend (Saturday night). Sorry I didn't post earlier.
I'll be available to take the turn as soon as it is ready.

Today is May 9th. Mad Bomber has not posted since May 1st and it is time for his turn to be skipped again. He is currently in a war, so I do not want to skip him again - it unbalances the game and is rather unfair to Clegg. We need to make a decision about how to proceed. Please vote for one of the following solutions:
a) Continue skipping his turns.
This is unfair to Clegg because the cities of Korea will waste away until he can conquer them all.
b) We find a substitute
I can post a message looking for a substitute, but I find it unlikely that anyone would want to pick up a civilization in a losing war.
c) I can substitute
I am currently one of the farthest away from Korea. We do not share any lands and I am not in any position to attack. I could play out these final Korean turns to make sure Korea is played 'realistically'. My map already includes the Korean borders and because I am so far away that any information I learned would be of little use to me. Naturally I am wary of this option because I do not want any unfair advantages, however this option will get the game moving immediatly.
d) Search for another solution...
Disband Korean cities? Trade them to adjacent civ's? Give them all to the Mongols?
This whole situation kinda sucks and is one of the ones I hoped to avoid when I advertised the game. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Option C because I believe it is fast and also more fair to all the other players, especially those that are near me.
My concern is that option A really isn't fair to some of the other civs becaues my units would face less resistance than they normally would if someone was playing as Korea.

The game has been held up long enough. I will be subbing for Mad Bomber until he returns, if ever. Sorry about the delay.

1250 BC to Carths.
Some 700 years ago, the Mongolian civilization found themselves in a difficult situation. Korea had built the city of Wonsan very close to the Mongol territory and contained any possibility of peaceful Mongolian expansion. King Clegg realized there was only one way to continue the Mongols expansion and nationalism....to capture the Korean cities.
King Clegg ordered his cities to begin producing horseman and built up a substantial army that would be fit for the task. Wonsan and the other Korean cities would have to be his if he were to continue his quest.
In 1375 BC, King Clegg ordered a suprise attack upon the city of Wonsan, and it fell quickly to the Mongolian army of horseman.
Shortly after the battle of Wonsan, now some 125 years ago, the Mongolian army was in firm control of the city, rested, and moved into position within striking distance of Seoul.
The battle for Seoul in 1250 BC was indeed epic and fierce. The Korean spearman fought valiantly against the Mongolian horseman, but in the end the Mongols outnumbered the enemy and were victorious. One regiment of horseman was lost and others were wounded, but the city was under Mongolian control.
After a short period of rest, recuperation, and reinforement, the Mongolian army should be prepared to march on the last Korean city and King Clegg's goal should be achieved.
It is our hope that this war will then be followed by a period of peace, prosperity, and growth for the Mongolian civilization and our neighbors.

I'm going to be traveling again this weekend, leaving now and returing Sunday evening (MST). I should be able to check e-mail on Saturday afternoon, but not much before then.
Given that, I should hopefully be able to take my turn within the 36 hour rule but there may be minor some delays.
