There's a difference between treating a woman with consideration and courtesy, and being condescending and patronizing. |
First of all when did I say that she did not belong in the Army and she should be home baking cookies? Also when did I presume to "dictate" anything about her? Finally, why is rescuing a "damsel" (i.e. young woman as opposed to young hermorphrodite) condensending? Should we pretend that she is not a woman?
In other words, she is a lady and a soldier. I doubt seriously if she resents the fact that she is a lady as some do here.
