This serves two purposes. Firstly, if it's "undesirable" for some reason or other, you can change to something different, and secondly, you can think of a good comeback when someone tries to joke about it with you.

So yes, "JAMSKI ÈLOVEK" does seem to mean "Defending the Caveman", and Jamski is the deepest cave system in former Yugoslavia. Montenegro to be exact. Google it.
