Inflate your Upload Space

I was 8 or 9 when I got Civ2 MPGE, back in '96 or '97. I've been playing Civ ever since.

2003-16=1987

Which civ was that.
Surely not Civ1.

Maybe a board version?

Was about the same but with a bit more 4 letter words being flung around. Like I said; trading was great in that game

We have quite the same experience!
I find this board game still is a great game and I remember a 12 hours non stop game, the whole night long, a couple of year ago...

Me too. Although I eventually figured it out, I will always think of the settler icon as depicting some helmet with freakishly big horns on it.

Same thing with the cavalry unit. I thought it looked like some threatening black squid with tentacles and stuff. Probably because the very first cavalry units I saw were barbarian and hence supposedly dangerous and evil.

Now when you say it, the cavalry actually looks like a squid....

Tired of ads?

I don't recall how many games of Civ1 I played to the industrial age, looking at the city screen wondering why all those poodle tails kept piling up at the bottom. :-/
