The systems manager isn't even based in the same County I work in. And they enabled java to allow staff to use the internet correctly, we are supposed to avoid non-trustworthy sites.

Its only up to restricted and nothing majorly secret is there. And somehow, no I don't think I'm goinhg to ask my boss to make a fuss over the fact that 'Poly insists on Britney pop-ups.

I delete the history file when I go home from work every day. You could try the same. If the IT people are running a realtime log, then that won't work though...

I am just glad those snow-something pop-ups are gone (maybe its somehting I did). Not long enough, everytime I switched between screens i got a new pop-up. It was frustrating and kept bringing Explorer down.

Oh, come on Taz, tell them the truth: tell them that you're visiting a site which covers the Civilization series of games, and it has a nice community and lots of good people whom you enjoy talking to, and that unfortunately when you access this site you always get a Britney pop-up, although you have no idea of what Britney and civilization have to do with each other.

They'll think you're just a harmless geek and they'll leave you alone.
