	Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I've been trying to figure out how to mod the game to aloow "Black" as a color scheme in the settings through the editor. Can someone enlighten me please? And please don't say just use the editor to choose black, it isn't a choice; there's something close to black, but it is not black. Thanks

Well I can't find any way to add a colour blacker than the "black" that's there. That looks pretty black though. I have been playing as the Vikings with it for a while and it looks as good as we need. I will go now and make a cursory check of the forums, but I expect to find nothing.

I think the one "close to black" is actually black.

It just looks close to black because after you choose a colour, the editor "highlights" it, causing the (black) colour to appear lighter than it is.

well if we all would look at the editor we would see it , ....

it does look to be black , ...... ( more or less )

its just not "black" black , ....

but we should go with a high noticable color like blue , .....

You can edit the palett files, but that would probably result in a non smoth blac, if you don't do things right.

I know the color that looks sort of black, but it isn't really. Is anyone up to the task of modding the pallete that Gramphos is refering to, so that we may have an actual "Black"?

I'd say that if we were going to mod this we would need someone who has worked with unitgraphics (or even better palletes) before. There are 70 colors in the pallete, and some should probably stay unchanged or very slightly modified.

These are the colors of pallete 16 (the black most default pallete) So these are the colors that would have to be moded.
