I never said before HIS post that I had '500 units'. I used hyperbole in my later post to show that he has no idea what is in a stack other than what is on top, that's all.

Since nitpicking seems to be in fashion: I have flags over all of my 19 cities, so technically I could have 33 outside Groningen. The only point was that he couldn't know.

EDIT:

After reviewing the file, it seems I forgot to drop my 'numerous' units off at Groningen.

Anyway this could be a blessing in disguise; now the victim can be Antwerp.

The ENTIRE French northern fleet has been destroyed!



France claimed its huge armada bearing down on Denmark carried freight units, but the King has come to the conclusion that France hasn't the productive power to fill three transports with freight and send them past the Netherlands in a mere 8 years (duh). Therefore, Danish galleys launched a pre-emptive strike against the French armada, destroying every caravel and their galley escorts. Kristian's fears were justified as hundreds of French soldiers were observed drowning in the North Sea as their transports were sunk:



Given this compelling evidence, all of Europe knows that we are waging a defensive war against France.

In the war with Spain, a regiment of pikemen was evacuated by sea for further pillaging operations, and our invasion force has landed outside Ostende.

Maybe the French were going to launch a campaign against the independants to the east?

I suppose you will sink any of my shipping near Netherlands and to the east as well? Fine, I just wont send any trade units your way.

(Sorry Sweden you dont get any either, your Scandanavian cousins have made the Baltic and North Atlantic a hazardous place to be no matter what the business maybe!)

We want war with no one other than the independent states; France CLEARLY brought this upon herself. We did what any responsible nation would do in this situation, with a massive invasion force heading toward our homeland. Not that this would be a loss, but your goods are more than welcome as long as you don't provoke us like the treacherous... no... downright idiotic French did. If you send a SINGLE caravel into the North Sea, drop its cargo off at Esbjerg for 'inspection', and then reload them back onto the ship, they are free to go wherever they want.

Well then perhaps you shouldn't have LIED to my face, saying they were just harmless trade units, and agreeing to the inspection process. If you had simply said "yes they are military units, headed for the Baltic States", I would have left you alone (although Sweden probably wouldn't have been too wild about your plans).

YOU brought this upon yourself, and the fact that you had to lie to me before makes me all the more certain your target was indeed Denmark. Either you were going to attack Denmark, or you screwed up in not telling me me your real intentions. Either way, losing the fleet was your fault.

France is going to send a fleet of 500 ships against Denmark(No Units Numbers will be given out)

The Danish King will suffer a slow death after the French-Spanish Occupation of Copenhagen, along with its people, which will be starved to death and replaced by Dutch,French and Spanish.

The French King asks Sweden and England to join the crusade against the Pro-Facist Denmark!
