Actually, first I want to cover the medical bills ( We need more socialized healthcare ) and then I'll use what I have left to pay for everything else.

So what if it's illegal.. it's not like they're gonna bust your door open and shoot you. Just put few bucks in an envelope between paper (so it they won't see through without devices, no one gets tempted to steal it that is) and send it without return address. There is absolutely no risks in it legally. I've done it dozens of times, sending money orders to the US. Never any problems.
